I have a feeling these are paparazzi photos - they look pretty professionally done.

Actually, while we're on the subject to tattoos...can anyone tell me what happened to the two on his forearms?
It's my thinking that they were both lasered, but there's been a few pictures that I've seen where it looks like the tat on his right arm didn't take to lasering as well as the left one has - it look like there's still faint traces of it (including in a couple of the latest shots - where he's walking)
Can anyone shed any light as to the fate of these tats?

I'm pretty sure only Alex himself could do that. Anything else would be speculation.

* quiver, quiver

Okay, that set truly put me over the edge. Furiously trying to sear the images on my retinas

* must take up jogging again

(yes, I jog like Phoebe) ... or surfing

... or shopping

... in Hawaii *
(

and flogging myself about the talent, PGal, rest assured)
Is that some St. Pauli Girl I see there???? (non-alcoholic version, Bob bless 'em...

) In college, that was one of our faves (sadly, we had less self-restraint and ours was the leaded version

... though I noticed they had quite a bit of Heineken too

). I just hope they drink the unleaded version
before surfing and the leaded stuff
after.
Finally, what can be said except that the tramp stamp temple has another fine addition ...
Our blessings sure are bountiful today!
And yes, I feel guilty enjoying papz-type photos, but oh man....

I might be spreading rumors here, but Susan over at LLOL mentioned that when she got her tattoos, she was told to put double the amount of sun screen on them after a period of time. (I never knew that!!) She pointed out that in this shot that's on AOLR, you can really see the sun screen on the upper arm tattoos.

Because the back tattoo is still new, Susan said that he wouldn't be putting sun screen on it yet. (I know - we've got lots of volunteers to help when it is ready.

)
Perhaps sunscreen is obscuring the the forearm tattoos since those tattoos seem to come and go and they aren't that distinctive any more. I figure if you see the white spot on his right arm (see reference photo below), there isn't make up on the arm; the white spot is more noticeable than the tattoo.

People pay a lot of money for their ink, and the sun will fade it - it's only common sense that a tattoo would need protection from the sun.
According to the care instructions I got yesterday for my newest tattoo, you shouldn't tan or be in the sun for three weeks. Once your tat's healed completely, you should always put sunscreen on it. I've never been told to put double the sunscreen on it - usually a higher SPF is sufficient (I put at least a 45-50 SPF on my tats if they're exposed to sunlight). I see Alex has a ton of sunscreen on his biceps tats, but I don't see any on his forearms. And that back ink looks pretty healed up, so I'm surprised he's not protecting it like he did his biceps.
But...as Lilly stated, unless Alex comes clean, anything else is speculation.

Sorry, just caught up with the AOLR pics bottom row - I see his blessed phone is attached to his ear again and did he get enough ice? Looks like he could to fill a bathtub.

I'm thinking that he had a fairly BIG party for all that ice - what was it, about 10-12 bags? We usually have about 30 people over at Xmas and use 6 bags of ice for the beer/soda/water. Given that Hawaii is a *bit* warmer, I'm guessing that 30 is about the # of guests he had over if he was the only person supplying the ice.
On the other hand (and I'm just sayin') if Mick St.John were visiting, 12 bags of ice might be enough for a night in the bathtub!

Who said something about the makeup guy on the set wanting a raise?

Was it you DSR? Would you complain if you had to cover that....tattoo with makeup?

I know I wouldn't ..in fact , I need a new job orientation...and could easily move house, too. Hawaii is kinda similar to Greese, isn't it? So, no raise, fire that guy, I am getting that job myself....

And he can have as much ink as he wants...

I noticed there is a sheen on his back ink (not that I was looking closely or anything

), which could be sweat, but I was guessing it was sunscreen to protect his pretty new ink
I know only Alex can confirm the fate of his tats, but I haven't seen his left forearm tat lately and was just wondering if anyone else had noticed faint 'remains' of a tattoo on his right forearm, (I know lasering is not always completely successful at removing ink) or whether i'm seeing things!

Oh I think we all wonder a bit about his ink, what he's saying with it, what his bosses think... Tho they apparently love the arm ink... He's interesting, it's interesting, and we're just plain interested.
But the press never seem to ask him about it -- or maybe they are told not to-- and he never offers anything, so we shall take him as he is... Which is a pretty good deal.
And maybe someday he'll spill.
If he does, he will have a rapt audience.

Clearly they aren't real fans. IMO, the back shot was the most important one of the bunch!
