I was just rereading this wonderful chapter. It is so rich and detailed. Phelan is a wonderful character--so much more than simply giving us information about werewolves in general, he provides a wise and thoughtful guide through these difficult times and is helping Beth see beyond the tyranny of her feelings right now!

What a wonderful history lesson this has been. Phelan, too, has seen and been a pivotal character in history. Along with all the legends of murdurous werewolves dishing out mahem and distruction, there are stories that don't get as much attention of the Fire Wolf.

Fabulous.

Beth is getting a lot of good information here. Her universe has been turned upside down multiple times in the last few years, hasn't it?

Hello to all of you wonderfully faithful and patient readers out there!

You all mean so much to me! When writer's block strikes, your encouragements and patience get me thru it!
Now, with Chap 31, "Define Monster", I'm have the opposite problem! If my Muse were a horse, she would have the bite in her teeth and be galloping towards the fence with me clinging desperately to her back!
When Chap 31, part 2, hit over a 10,000 words, I new I was in trouble. But my Muse won't give an inch.
So, I dicided that I have to break up Chap 31, part 2, into an additional Chapter. I just I have to find the right place.
So, Chapter 31, part 2, of "Define Monster", will go up in a few more days. {Work is nuts right now....so must wait for next day off.} To be followed shortly by Chapter 32, "What Legion Saw...." {working title....subject to revision.}

I totally loved the backstory of Phelan, but with all that Beth still feels like a monster. It will take some time to let it sink in that she truly isn't. Maybe it needs Mick.
