LOL...it's about the only thing that gets me on the table, Alle. I have a needle phobia and thinking about Mick keeps me from ripping it out of my arm and running away screaming.
I think one of the main things I love is this great sense of community we have here. It ain't always easy, but it's always interesting.
Red...
I suppose I could have put that a BIT differently!

This thread was a wonderful idea. I'm grinning from ear to ear reading each post.
We're all Moonlightaholics (even if my post count isn't quite there yet

). Happily sharing the joy and admiring Mick on a daily basis.

I don't know -- it works for me.
(I was a first-time blood donor because of ML.)

I donated for the first time in MANY years, because of Moonlight. And I blush to admit that even now, just thinking, "I'm doing this for Josef," makes the needle a lot easier to take. Yeah, I really think that...it helps.

Another fabulous thread!!!!
There haven't been many television shows in my life that have grown in importance to the point where that hour became nearly the centerpiece of my week, but Moonlight is on the list.
There were so many fabulous themes, so many delightful layers to explore in fanfic--and I will be forever greatful to the wonderful, creative fanfic writers around here.
I still mourn the cancellation but we definitely have a lot to be very thankful for here. Because of the writers here, we have had our second, third and fourth seasons that spool out in our imaginations. Just give a thought of how much money is being saved by the network that shall not be named paying production costs!
We are very, very lucky.

When I told my daughter I still loved Mick St. John, she nodded and said, "Stick with your fantasy lover. That way, you'll never find toenail clippings on the coffee table." Another "Moonlight" blessing.

He's never around to see you before you've had your coffee, either.

Ladies this thread is wonderful!!
First...To Seamus!!

I LOVE the way your daughter thinks... truly.
Moonlight was not the first show that I have really loved, but it was the first one that I was made to feel that as a fan I had a voice... I made lots of friends in the UK, and around the world while it was on our screens, and joined in the fight to save it, and then the hope that it would return...
Alas it was not to be...

but the characters, the actors, the scenes, and the amazing music from the show have served as inspiration to so many wonderful and talented people.... and I'll always be grateful for it...
It's led me to making banners, and writing, ( for myself, while I'm a chicken...

) and also an amazing world of rp characters who seek to give people the ecapism that the show once did...
And it's also led me to my very best friend in the world... whom I would never be without.

Who inspires me, and makes me constantly thankful that I ever began the path I'm on in life.

Long may the Moonlight Journey continue for all of us....
( and is smiling all over the place too.

)
