That is a GORGEOUS watch! (And a pretty awesome video as well.) I don't usually get too excited about watches, but that one is
stunning.
It really does need to be worn by a very special man.

He does indeed.
But I wish there was a version of that video with the aspect ratio corrected. That one makes him look short and wide because the image is distorted.

It is almost 3PM Monday where I live. It is 9AM Tuesday in OZ, (or some part of it) so I would think the event will be happening in 10 hours or so.

You remember the psycho TA in NSTAV? I read somewhere that it was his couch Alex slept on. This friend was also living with the woman who played opposite Alex in OF. Don't remember where I read this though.

I'm interested to see if the black tie is done up in the formal way or if it will be a little bit loose like he does with regular long ties.

It's currently 6.44 pm central australian time, the Eastern states are half an hour ahead of us - so it's around 7.15 pm in Sydney at the moment. Just incase anyone was looking for a local countdown clock.
