Again another view of Coraline and Mick's relationship we didn't see on screen. Very well done.

I don't like Coraline because I think she manipulative and selfish that being said I also feel that something or someone in her past help shape the person we saw in the series. Mick made her feel human again and I do think she loved him but in the end she loved herself and her lifestyle more. IMO she would never had told Mick her "secret" for fear of his rejection of her but I do think she thought about telling him. Coraline is a very complicated women we didn't learn nearly enough about during ML.

Just read this again and it's wonderful!

Coraline had been searching for someone to share her life with, too--but they were barely speaking the same language at that moment. So sad.

Oh, she got what she wanted, but eventually it ceased to want her.
