I have never went to a Black Friday sale and I understand Logan completely. When you spend your life in a basement that is not the place to make an outside debut. I don't think Mick knows what he is getting himself into.

That was cute, but I really don't think Mick knows what he's gotten himself into! All that pushing and shoving and jostling of humanity....maybe he can just vamp jump to electronics and get it overwith quickly. Logan has a good friend in Mick!

Black Fridays are a nightmare...too scary even for vampires. I love when Logan said. "The sun's going to come up." He's watched too much Buffy.

This is such a little gem, Alle. It's one of those perfect, lighthearted ML moments -- the kind they threw in every once in a while to relieve the angst and tension. I can totally see Mick covering his smile with his hand as he listened to Logan's dilemma. And I can hear the urgency in Logan's voice, even though he was trying to play it cool. Love it!

I'm so glad you found it, Lilly! Thank you very much. I really like thinking about the day-to-day of vampire life. It makes these characters seem so much more real to me when I think of them shopping, dealing with snooty waiters, pumping gas, and that sort of thing. It's something we're all familiar with, and yet since these are vampires we're talking about, there's always a little twist to the situation that makes it interesting and fun to think about.

This is the story I was looking for when I found the other one! I like writing about Logan, he's such an interesting character. Mick did him a big favor here.

Thanks, Ella and MLC! Logan definitely liked the high-tech toys, and that TV was bleeding edge stuff back in 2008. Mr. A. and I have a plasma TV-- ours is only 42 inches, which is plenty big for me-- and it is HEAVY! Good thing Mick has vamp strength, huh?

MLC, I can't count the number of times I've read a story, thinking it was for the first time, and found a comment I'd left years previously! I'm glad you enjoyed this bit of fluff!
