Wonderful developments!

Coraline has grown a lot through the ordeal she has gone through and perhaps she has gained a bit of sense in the process. She truly seems to care for Edward.

Now we will get a look at some key factors of what they are up against and what is working for them:

what are Leopold's strengths?

how will this magic effect Leopold and does he have any charm or ability to allow him to get past it?

Edward Farmington does not strike me as 'bat shit crazy' to use Josef's words

I think Brian had a good idea. Isabel may be just the person to have on hand.

Anxious to see where this is going.

Thank you!

Jenna

Jen, I was never a Coraline hater so I wanted to do a story where she actually was the "good guy". I think in the series, she was starting on a path of not being a selfish person and I wanted to show what would happen if she really did find true love. Unfortunately her past will always come back to haunt her. :snicker:

Excellent ending.

Coraline is nothing if not mercurical, and as much as I hope she has finally found what she has been looking for, I tend to doubt it. As Josef once said, forever is a long time and while she may have found compansionship and peace for now, she may grow restive after a time. Time will tell, no pun intended.

Brian/Davros is still a bit unnerving to me. That is something else that will unfold over time. Gabe and Brian are best friends now, but this relationship that resembles Mick and Josef now may change, too. Another case of time will tell.

Thank you!

Jenna

I managed to forget to read the rest of this story. Sorry. The ending had me very surprised at the growth of Coraline. She finally found what she was looking for. Maybe it took all those failures, Mick not wanting to be turned that way, Lance going after her, her sire wanting to possess her, to finally find her true love. :hearts:
