I believe it's from Arrested Development when Carl is already at the kid's apartment.

Yep I found the scene and you are right. It's from AD when Mick and Beth break into the Teen Vamps apt. Mick surprises Carl and his officers inside...Mick attacks and pins them to the floor.

Kath, thank you for tracking that cap down! Now that you explained it, of course it makes sense.

Mick's expression there is kind of hard to read.

Not so hard to read the "ahh, coffee" expressions in the lovely caps Rhonda just posted, though. You can almost taste that delicious sip, can't you?
