I don't have specific information but a friend of mine whose son is in the movie business told me that it takes 5-6 weeks between the starting of filming and the airing of a TV episode.
But who knows about CM

I was going to say that I think it's about a 6 week or so lead time for hour dramas, but if I'm not mistaken a lot of dramas pushed their schedules forward trying to film as much as possible before a possible actor's strike hit. So that 6 week time frame may have turned into 8 weeks or more.

So he's probably still filming or just now filming? Is that what that means?

Or that he's done... sorry, but the math confuses me...

I think we're all guessing here, Grace. It could be finished now, or it could still be under way or it might not even have started yet. I think that about covers the possibilities.

Last week in Garcia's blog (she's the blond girl who is usually on the computer in CM) she stated that she was working on an episode that Simon Mirren was directing and since he only does 2 or 3 a year, it is safe to assume that this was Alex's. So my guess is that they have completed filming and on to the editing.

Well if that's the case, then the accomplished may mean he's pleased with his work... however I would still really like his mood to be permanently employed...

Thanks for the info Lynn! Could very well be why his mood is 'accomplished' although I hope it's MORE.

For how Alex feels about this fans and he knows how any news, no matter how small is making us bonkers, he would not have used the word "accomplished" lightly. So for me right now, I am going to believe that this is Alexs way of telling us that we are going to see him next fall, and if I am wrong it won't be the first time I was bummed since I feel in love with Moonlight, but untill he chances his mood, I am going to try all the new drink recipes on this site to celebrate!
