But why is Alex in none of the promo stuff? My fingernails are starting to look like little nubs...

Grace, that vid was posted by the actress herself, I believe. And the articles are about recent additions to the cast - we had our Alex articles last week so I guess there's no new news.
As soon as there's any actual promo, which I guess won't be until the show gets picked up

, I'm sure there will be plenty of Alex.
Not enough (never enough) but plenty

.

OK...let me try (btw, you're not whining, you're just passionate!!)
Grace, look at it this way....if we end up watching Three Rivers because of Alex, can't the guys have a reason to watch as well? Julia Ormond is a draw for the male audience....
Between the women watching Alex and the men watching Julia, the number of viewers stays high and the show stays on the air and we get to watch Alex, while the guys get to watch Julia......
cyclic logic at its finest

Which one is Alex,
Red... the chicken or the egg?
And
Dark, I agree with you... Julia Ormond will get a different audience and that is a good thing... I just get frustrated not seeing more of him in these promo stories... and yeah, last week he got a story... but what have you done for me lately CBS??? I'm difficult and complicated... I wish I were dangerous... then I'd get more Alex outta that network, by any means necessary, which is a legal term isn't it??

I don't know grace, you're starting to scare me...that sounded awfully procedural of you

And he blogged about this today!! I can only imagine the amount of time and effort he put into researching and studying for this role. Now, we just need to see him in some scrubs, to get the full effect.

LOL Grace! Two outta three ain't bad!

Hopefully, now that he's blogged about TR and it's officially 'out there' he'll be more of a focus in the publicity surrounding it. Here's hoping anyway...

and run into me!

(Hey, I warned you I was selfish

)
Just make sure you have that camera at the ready.....
just in case!

And bring at least two back-ups.....
just in case!

Ha! Forget about the cameras. If I run into Alex I'm going to need two people to prop me up!
I will keep one handy tho...
just in case.

Just don't expect me to be able to hold the camera steady.
My college is actually having one of their monthly trips into the city next week (which is kinda pathetic since we're only half an hour out of town but whatever) and of all things it's to the Ducky Tour, which is this land and river tour of the 'burgh in an amphibious vehicle. I'm thinking I need to go and take my camera
and binoculars for some Alex spotting. I can see it now...we're in the middle of the Allegheny River when I spot Alex on shore and dive head first into the 45 degree water!

If you spot a human icecube on the news, you'll know who it is!

So let's recap the cast joining Alex:
"Three Rivers," from CBS Par, is about organ transplants as seen through three points of view: the doctors, the donors and the recipients.
Kate Moennig will play a self-destructive lung/heart transplant fellow.
Daniel Henney will play a wealthy kidney/liver/pancreas transplant specialist.
Previously announced supporting cast members include Justina Machado ("Six Feet Under") and newcomer Christopher J. Hanke. Machado will play an operating assistant.
Hanke will play Ryan, a series regular, young fresh-out-of water character who finds his way into working as the transplant coordinator even though he has no medical experience.
Joaquim de Almeida plays the director of the institute of transplant medicine.
Julia Ormond will play the head of surgery at Three Rivers Hospital. She co-starred in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and has been recurring on CBS' "CSI: NY." She will play Dr. Jordan.
Sounds like an interesting ensemble cast!
