Okay. It took forever, but I uploaded all 15 vid clips to photobucket and now I'm going to try and post links so that everyone can see the mini-vids. With the exception of the last one, which is the one with Alex saying to Joel "Sorry, Daddy", none of these clips have ever seen the light of day. I never felt they were up to par when compared with some of the others ones that are out there. They are all very short, most averaging around 25 to 30 seconds. A couple are only a few seconds long, as I was just learning how to work my vid recorder that night. Hell, I didn't even know it could record video until JerseyGirl told me. If I had not been so worried about getting caught, I might have tried to actually record for longer periods of time, but as it is, the responses from Alex are not complete. But I wanted to give those that were not there the chance to feel like they were. To enjoy the moment and try to catch some of the excitement that was going on in that small theatre. As you can tell, everyone was laughing and having a really great time. Even the cast seemed to enjoy themselves. It was an unforgettable evening. So, enjoy the videos, and my apologies for the less than stellar video taking on some of the clips.

In this one, Alex is talking about Anne Rice, and how she was no longer writing vampire novels. He told everyone how much he loved her work. One of the fans there gave Alex a 1st Edition signed copy of Lestat. He was very much surprised and extremely grateful for the gift. This one is also one of my favorites only because after I stopped recording, Sophia looked over at me and winked! She knew exactly what I was doing and thought it funny! I just wish I had recorded that cute wink, it was priceless!

Those were great, Suz! It's hard to tell what was being talked about, but I enjoyed them anyway.

My faves would be the one of Jason talking about first auditioning with Alex (or at least I think that's what he was talking about) and the last with Alex slinking down in the chair. Too cute!

If anyone has any questions about what was being discussed during any of the clips, just post and I'll try to fill everyone in on the topic. Again, my apologies for actually just popping in with my vid recorder to conversations already ongoing. But I figured a living, breathing, talking Alex was worth the amateurish vid clips.

Yes, the two of them joked with each other the entire night. You can tell these two are really great friends. Jason was basically saying that when he first met Alex, Alex was smoking a cigar and telling him what to do. The cigar was a running joke all night long after that!

Thanks, Lilly! Thats exactly why I posted the vids. Not because they are very good, cuz they're not, but because I wanted everyone to get a feel for what the evening was really like. How happy everyone was, laughing and joking around. I just wanted to try to get that feeling across.

I should have checked the board first. Ignore my PM, DC and Sus. LOL

Glad to see you got the clips up!! Now I have to go watch them all and relive that night. Sigh....

In the third video, I believe someone asked about what the cast thought about the blood drives and then Alex started talking, so Joel Silver cuts in and says "In case you didn't know...he's Australian." That got laughs and then Alex was saying that he spoke Mandarin too and then said, "Blood drives...excellent." and gave the thumbs up and said how wonderful it was that the fans did that.

As you can tell from the videos...Alex is a HAM and a half. Heh. I love the "Alex was smoking a cigar..." and the look on his face and faux-cigar smoking pretending to be some snobby producer type guy. LOL!!

I REALLY regret not filming the entire thing because I had enough memory to get it all, but I didn't because I didn't know how short it would be and I wanted photos as well. HUGE regret for me.

That Anne Rice thing....I emailed her about ML too. Heh. She emailed me back too and I was SHOCKED. LOL

That last video of him talking about directing and that leading to his saying "It's my show." I was going to ask that, but the lady in front of me asked it first. Heh. I love Brian behind Alex doing the "You are digging yourself into a hole." gesture. LOL!!!

They manage to convey one magical day. One day, of pure unadulterated delight. I know how much I envy each one of you that did manage to get to Paley. But I hope you know that I am so thankful you are willing to share these. Thank you Susan, from the bottom of my envy green heart!

Susie, thank you soooooooooooooooo much for posting these! It made me smile and remember those giddy days of hope and fun, when we all just knew Moonlight would be back next season. And enough time has passed that I can revisit those hopeful days without too much sadness... just nostalgia. It reminds me how precious that kind of hope really is, whether for something as basically unimportant (in a world-turning kind of way) as a TV show or something as crucial as a pregnancy. It's all about hope and anticipation and love.

Oh Susan!! You absolutely figured correctly! These were mesmerizing to watch! And I am so glad everyone was having such fun... just to see Alex, as Alex, being interviewed, yes, but also interacting with his buddies and his fans is just totally wonderful.

Thank you so much for taking the time and forcing yourself to learn a new tech skill to get these up for us... truly. I know it took a lot of your time, but I have watched them all twice already ( ) so please know how much your generosity here is appreciated.

You're all very welcome! To tell you the truth, I forgot I even had them. There's really only one or two that are passable, where the pic quality is okay and you can actually hear what is being discussed. I was like 10 feet from them and was on cloud nine! Right after Paley, I didn't post them at all because of the poor quality. But last night, I realized that it really didn't matter what they were saying, because when I watched them, I got almost as excited as I was when I was actually there! And I thought that if nothing else, posting the clips might help those that were not there feel a bit of that excitement, and maybe feel like they were there right alongside of us. It was indeed a special night and, as Alle says, one filled with love, happiness and hope!

Thank you so much, Susie, for the videos. They might be not TV material, but they are definitely showing the mood of the panel and the adorable Alex is front and center.
