While I'm always unnerved when I watch her in this ep as she is so scarily cool and determined in her motives, I don't see her as evil. Who wouldn't want Mick back? She may be ruthless here in messing with Mick and Beth, but I wouldn't say she is evil.
I adore this scene between Beth & Coraline. I've always thought Beth was a little quick in her "we're just friends" responses.

Oops. Clearly was paying too much attention to how Mick looked and not enough to the details of the scene.
