Strange as it may seem, I saw very little Josef in this performance. Martin was chilling in a way that Josef never was.

And yes so was Jason. And I did see a bit of Josef... or the hint of what Josef CAN be, when he wants to. Tho he'd have a reason... this guy... just baaaaaad. And perfectly fine with that. :scary:

Alex likes to play characters who can be redeemed. Jason clearly has no such compunction. :devil:

Okay, here's my thing I hinted at earlier...not a huge spoiler, but a delightful aside.

When I talked to Jason in Houston, and he told me about filming this episode, I mentioned how much we'd all enjoyed seeing him in CSI, but we were almost disappointed that he wasn't the "bad guy," as he is so great at the intense interrogation/confession scenes. He gave me that adorable impish grin of his and said: "You are going to love 'Lie to Me.' "

Obviously, he was telling the absolute truth!

without saying anything about the plot....Jason's acting was genius. Every bit a refined as Alex's "Vincent". :thumbs:
