Just caught up with all the commentary, ladies - you crack me up. Although with ALL those posts, no-one actually said what he was wearing until alle's fabulous report. He looks divine

and I'm so happy you got a chance to talk to him and get his autograph.

That's the feed that we were watching live last night,
Red.
He busted in on Noreen's interview and the Twit Chick interviewer didn't really adjust all that well... but yes,
he's adorable!!! And
he was so so happy; we loved how happy
he looked!! And sorry for not reporting on
his Jil Sander

... we were too busy being snarky.
Annnnnnnnd....
ALLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
You sooooo rock!!!!!!
Thank you SO much for being there and for y'all making
HIM feel so happy and loved and supported.
And for telling
him we were all back here rooting
him on too.
Thank you SO much for the pics and the vids and the beautiful write up of your experience!
And for the perfect description of
his appearance and
his suit... so
Red doesn't have to knock us upside the head now.
And congratulations on the autographs and the little personal time.
YOU, my girl, have had an amazing week.

I almost fell over when Noreen said that he's really sexy in the movie and he moved on with that great "Oh, come on!" like it was no big deal, but his eyes were totally laughing and kind of proud of his little film.
I have no more words. Adorable, beautiful and sexy feel so used right now.

Oh
Alle. Remember when you told us of your experience with Alex at the Aussies in Film event the other day, and I said I wanted to be you?? Still feel that way multiplied by about 1,000!!
I am so excited for you and grateful that you were able to tell him how much his fans are pulling for him. That warmed my heart hearing you say that, and it about burst with his reaction. And you remained composed while in his presence?!?!? That is amazing in itself. I think I already mentioned what my behavior would have been like. Not as classy as yours, trust me!
I do remember him mentioning that he was wearing a Jil Sander suit, then promptly forgot it b/c, well, LOOK AT HIM!!!
Alex and JLo were coordinated, which I thought was a nice touch--whether it was intentional or not.
Again,
alle, Congrats on twice being within Alex's personal bubble space---lucky, lucky gal you are.

A question that has been nagging at me: Either time that you were near him, were you able to sniff him to tell if he was wearing cologne, and if so, what did he smell like?? Don't mock me, ladies--you know you want the answer to that question!!
And your report was far better than anything that came out of that poor twitchick's mouth last nite--although she certainly did inspire much snark and laughter for all of us!

I told him that we've all been following his career for some time now, and that I wanted him to know how happy we are for him, and how very much we feel he deserves this big day. He seemed genuinely touched, and dazzled me with a big smile and said thank you very much. (I am pleased to report that, although my hands were shaking like leaves in a windstorm, I did NOT faint, lose the power of speech, or drop my camera.)
Oh.
Alle. You -- are my new hero.
I'm so happy for you, sweetie, because I know how much it meant to you to get your poems signed.

This amazing week of "close encounters of the O'Loughlin kind" could not have happened to a nicer or more deserving person. Way to represent, girl!

OK. Time for more links... this one a nice and silly interview with an Aussie journalist...

And Alex is adorable. Did I need to mention that?

Man, Brad cuts straight to the point...
Is there anything sadder than THIS guy having an empty dance card?

Seriously, how is that even possible?
But it's an irony. Some reviewers of BUP say it's unbelievable because how could anyone as hot as Zoe or Stan have trouble finding "the one"?
Yet someone who happens to BE just as hot as Stan IS having trouble finding HIS "the one."
And of course, Jennifer Anniston seems to be singularly bad at it too.
Sexy, adorable, pretty, clever, delightful people are looking for other people just like them. There aren't many.

I agree, Grace. Besides, haven't some of these people realised it's
entertainment, not documentary?
If you're interested in reviews, the best compilation, with links, is at metacritic:

Generally a pretty mixed bag (the range of scores is HUGE), which is kinda what I would have expected.
