da*n, was really hoping for a weekly dose of his accent.
I'm guessing that he's going to be more than likely using a northeast US accent, but that's just a guess. Maybe he's a transplanted (ha ha!) Aussie who now lives in PA.

His ML accent would work for Pittsburgh. And I'm still pulling for the tats...

I honestly can't see any reason to cover up the tats this time around. It's not like they're of a questionable nature or anything. If that were the case, then yes, they would need to be covered. But a surgeon? Present day? Lovely body art? Why not?

Naw. No Yablonski's in Oz. But hey, his parents could have died when he was young and he was taken in by an aunt who moved to Aussie because of the very fine crop of men there. So he grew up there, adopting an Australian accent. Got his tats there too. He's been on walkabout. Loves the land. Is laid back and a bit hedonistic. He doesn't like to cut his hair much. Or shave. Scrubbing his hands for surgery is enough for him.

Interesting. I totally didn't pay attention enough attention to the name before but Yablonski has history in Pittsburgh. I'm pretty sure there was a labor leader back in the 50's or 60's with that last name who was assassinated by another union leader. It was a pretty big deal, at least locally (or so my dad told me), so I wonder if it was an intentional choice or not. Because I seem to remember The Guardian paying homage to different local figures that way, which I always thought was kind of cool.

Me too. I love SS's avi too. Where did those Alex pics, short hair in glasses come from?

Come to think of it, they kinda look like Simon Baker with dark hair.

I see a younger Sly Stallone in the face on pic myself.

Isn't is amazing how Alex can slip right into character like that? Sigh...

GA, you crack me up. :rofl2:

Or he could be an Aussie adopted by a Yablonski family.
