Tattoos can be removed, with varying degrees of success, using lasers.

And it's not a comfortable process, right?

I have no idea - sounds horrible though.

Doesn't sound like it would be painless....the forearm tats aren't visible on the bike image, but if you can force yourself to go back through the photo shoot images (I know, it's hard), they do seem to be there. Maybe for Dr Andy, it was decided that the tats should go....

My daughter avidly watches those tv shows, LA Ink and Miami Ink and I recall there being a discussion on one of them about removing a tattoo and how painful that process can be... and it doesn't always get all the tat... some inks, some colors, are more durable than others, more resistant to the laser.
Tho my sum total of knowledge is from a tv show... so only take that for what it is obviously worth.
Anyway, I could see it being problematic in getting jobs if the producers don't want his tattoos to show... didn't they say on ML that it took a long time to cover his tattoos? That must also cost money, and maybe require specialized make up people on the payroll...

yeah many actors have them on their bycepts but on the forearm i could understand that producters would found it being a problem.

*sniffle* I miss the Mick curls. I do, I'm sorry--I know it's shallow and I know Alex likes his hair shorter, and heaven knows I sympathize with trying to tame long hair that needs a lot of grooming...
...but I miss the Mick curls.
