Just one note of caution, dsr. Episode one of series one has one extraordinarily gruesome moment - truly horrific (and memorably so, even after all this time. It still makes me shudder at the mere thought). So, um, just be prepared, 'k? Although it might not have made it uncut onto the DVD, I guess.darkstarrising wrote:Yea!! Based on your reviews, I just purchased the first season of this series and can't wait to get into it!

And, best of all, the concluding caption:

Thanks for sharing this info. r1015bill. I'll be checking back and watching for it.r1015bill wrote:Just read an unverified tweet that PBS is attempting to get the rights to show season 9 in the States when available and that the DVD will be available on 2/28 (not sure if that's UK or US). I will attempt to get some real references.
ETA:
The 2/28 date must be UK if anything. Season 8 just came out here on 1/25. I can't find a news story that says what PBS might be doing.
Actual tweet reads
@PBS working on acquiring #MI5 / #Spooks season 9 when available. DVD out 2/28. On iTunes now! #SophiaMyles
