EEEEEK Our own Soby05 is in the video of Alex signing autographs outside the Early Show! And she posted some pictures of him on her Facebook page, including one that shows off his eyelashes and his tongue in a way that... well... :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: (Need I say more?) :happysigh:

Lucky, lucky lady--she's met Alex at least three times, and gotten great pictures with him each time!

But yes. Swoony swoonsome swooniness all around. :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

What a beautiful, beautiful man.

Oh my. Lucky, lucky lady indeed.

I shudder to think how I'd behave if I saw the man in person. I probably wouldn't be able to string 2 words together. So, kudos to her for being able to hold a camera steady and stand without fainting.

I swear he gets more beautiful and 'glowy' as time goes on. Can his eyes possibly sparkle any more? And those lashes?? He oughta steal that commercial from Brooke Shields about the eyelash enhancement stuff.

Wow! Just caught up!!! Loved the interview with Maggie on The Early Show (Thanks Lily for the clip  ) He seemed relaxed and happy...so cute how she, being pregnant, got to do the interview....

I was surprised by the appearance on The Today Show - but apparently so were they - it was cute the way he just rolled with everything...a sense of humor is definitely in order. We'll see what tomorrow brings. (Thanks, grace, for the link  )

You're welcome, Dark... ...

I love how at the end of the Today Show interview, KLG says something about they didn't know what to expect and Alex kinda makes a face and says something like 'you expected me to crumble under the pressure?'

Very cute.

She also says something like we don't care what you said, we just want to look at you. Seems to be a pattern with Alex. "Look at him!" :cloud9: :cloud9:

On a slightly different note ('cos I'm all about the multi-tasking where Alex is concerned) have y'all bought/listened to the soundtrack? What do you think?

I've heard so many snippets of the Michael Franti song on the trailers I thought I'd be over it by the time the album came out but I love the full track. I adore V. V. Brown - and the track here is  . I'd never heard of Kudu before but there is a definite Scissor Sisters vibe to Let's Finish. All in all, I'm v impressed. :teeth:

And a couple of track titles on the original score have got me wondering... and counting the days even more desperately.

I know that I mentioned this earlier, but didn't his face look absolutely healthy and glowing? I don't know if it was the lighting that added to it, or if he recently received a great facial, but his skin looked amazing. He looked so youthful and dewy.

Okaaaaay. I reallllly have serious problems, don't I?

ETA---haven't heard anything about the soundtrack. Are there any other artists on there that we may have heard of, red? I am always interested in new music, and am curious as to the sound/vibe they are going for in this film.

Thanks for the track listing, red.

Interesting mix. I love Moby and India.Arie. Colbie Caillat is good in small doses--just my personal opinion. She opened for John Mayer a few years back, and I thought I would fall asleep during her set! She sings beautifully, just extremely mellow.

I wonder if that JLo song is the one she sang on SNL, because she impressed the hell out of me. I thought her previous tunes were catchy, if not thin on the vocals, but the song she sang on SNL, she showed some serious pipes. It was the best I'd ever heard her sing, and it was all live.

I agree with your perception of Jennifer's performance on SNL, Ma Fleur. She didn't hide behind special effects - it was just her, and she really carried the song.

Red, I'm going to check out the soundtrack, because you're now the third person who told me they liked it a lot. Thanks!

Hi Fleur

Yes, he was....I was worried they were going to fly him in at some ungodly hour, then throw him onstage without much sleep. But he looked really relaxed and at ease....I loved the way he congratulated Maggie on her pregnancy....a very nice gesture, one I felt was genuine.

Can you blame her, grace, dearest? Did you get a look at his shoes? I couldn't see what they were exactly, but they seemed a little different....Then there was Maggie's shoes....they'd be hard enough to walk in without being pregnant. He really was having a nice conversation with her...when she got to the 'tell us about BUP', he seemed to mentally pull back for a second, then review the 'script' in his head, then answered the question.

And bless Maggie for mentioning Moonlight..... :hearts:

Somebody pointed out Alex's shoes to me... (amazing, I didn't happen to notice them...wonder why?) Our boy's funky fashion sense is alive and well. They were GREEN! :rolling:

Speaking of the soundtrack, here's a page where you can stream two of the songs, Say Hey (I Love You), by Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Disco Lies, by Moby:
