I don't think you'll get an argument from any of us about that, MLS. But on the other hand, for a show that only ran for one (truncated) season, Moonlight's sure got legs, and that's reason for happiness. You can spend so much time bemoaning what should have happened that you miss out on enjoying what we've got!

I just checked both IMDb and AOL Television, and both are listing "Sonata" for 8/26. Very odd.

Maybe they're going to have a 2-hour "season retrospective" thing the following week, to get people in the mood for Season 2 of Vampire Diaries...?

That's dumb to show Sonata when the previous episode ended with Mick as human?!? Just show FTP and then end.
Or - is there going to be a commercial to buy the DVD and see the missed episodes?

Re: Moonlight to air on CW in double bill with Vampire Diaries
Now I am not clear what is going to show since both TV Guide and the TV magazine that came with Sunday's newspaper seem to be FTP. I guess we are going to just have to wait and see although I don't mind if they end with either FTP or Sonata although I would greatly prefer them to run both and it appears they could unless they are going to run an expanded Vampire Diaries.

Thank you Coco for the lovely banner.

It is going to be a mystery Thursday. The CW site has Fated To Pretend described. They don't have Sonata listed but I think they have been listing one episode a week as it aired.

You don't suppose this is some big misunderstanding about being "the last episode" of Moonlight? The last one they are showing versus the last one of the entire series?
I'm definitely pulling for FTP so newbies don't get confused.

Much as I hate the thought of it, grace, they'll probably show Sonata and it will confuse the hell out of the newbies with Mick now being a vampire again...what's worse, the newbies will never see Mick as a human or the magnificent re-turning scene....let's hope that they stay with FTP....both eps end in a kiss, but FTP would make more sense...

Re: Moonlight to air on CW in double bill with Vampire Diaries
Just because the CW might miss the last couple of episodes it doesn't mean we have to. Thankfully, many of us had the forethought to pick up a copy of the DVD set. I'm sure we could arrange something.

nutmegger911 - You are right of course. I actually have three DVDs and I imagine there are others who have more. But there is something about seeing the show on the television set on a broadcast network or whatever the CW is - that makes it so much more special than merely watching the DVD. Maybe it is the thought that some people are just discovering Moonlight for the first time.

Thank you Coco for the lovely banner.
