In Greece, besides birhtdays, we celebrate name days. I know it is a custom that rarely exists in other countries, but here it is still strong, because it is easy to remember a friend through his/ her name rather than knowing or remembering his/her birthday. Today it is the name day for all those named Alexander or Alexandra. It is a rather common name , especially in men, since many people choose to give their boys the name of the greek king Alexander II, known as Alexander the Great. As I was calling friends who have this name to give my wishes, my elder son ''reminded'' me to call Alex 
so we could all wish him for the day..I don't have his phone-number I am afraid.

Oh, I love that. One of my fave exchanges between the two captured perfectly. 
I also love that last Alex pic. He has quite the quirky style at times and he really wears it well.
