It has become quite formulaic... last night's was less gory than it sometimes can be... so I was ok with it... but I'm not a regular watcher...
I just want to know if the dialogue is always that stilted. I love the premise of the show, but I thought the acting was way below par.
Kept thinking "this is still on, and ML isn't??" throughout the entire viewing.
I've watched CM on and off for a couple of years and, actually, it is a pretty decent show. Some episodes are better than others, of course, but generally the acting is good and the cast has great chemistry. But, in response to your comment, I say "yeah, I agree" but I think that way about every other show on television these days...

I tend to do it with most of the shows; How come this is on TV and Moonlight is not?
I wasn't impressed by the episode or the acting either but can't wait for 4/29

I have the same response when I put things in my Netflix queue "How could
this be on for 3 years and I only got 16 episodes of Moonlight?". I can't help but look at the number of seasons and episode count and shake my head.
Somebody at the library requested Three's Company. I finally quit counting at the fifth season that came in for her but they kept coming and coming after that. We've had a couple of men request Charmed. That had a lot of seasons too. I kind of gave the 'what gives' look to one of my co-workers and she said her husband keeps track of what cable station is replaying Charmed and watches it almost every day before he goes to work.

jims--maybe I just happened to catch it on an off night. I mean, they have a decent caliber of actors on that show, and the premise is amazing--stuff like that intrigues the hell out of me. My hubby and daughter both felt the same way, but I am willing to give it another try before Alex's episode--which we all know will rock!! Because, let's face it, who cares who the other actors are in the scene when he is on!

Absolutely!! He could be cast next to Hugh Jackman, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt..he'd still outshine them all.

I'm nothing, if not loyal. The only one who can outshine Alex, imo, is my Jason.

(we
need to get them on screen together again..somehow..someday..)

hmmmmmm....
Actually, see, it's about this perpetually cool yet broodingly handsome vampire PI, you see, and he has an older-yet-younger-looking, totally rich and handsome best buddy... and they drive really cool cars and have adventures. In Los Angeles. With beautiful women.
Sounds like a sure-fire hit, huh?
Edited to say Oops, BOY have I dragged this thing

Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds!!!!

My goodness, that guy can act. I'm so looking forward to seeing him as a tortured serial killer who wants to be caught.
(OK OK, there's a Ferris wheel in it too...)

Well alrighty then!!
And yes, that boy who will be guest starring on CM CAN act... I've seen him in a few things before... and we'll see if the serial killer REALLY wants to be caught... tho I am worried about his long term health... cause they pretty much always get their man on that show, do they not???

Yes, but I've seen him die so beautifully in Mary Bryant and he's been shot in The Invisible and multiple times as Mick St. John. I'm sure even if his long term health is nothing to make plans with, it will be a vision to behold to see him go.
