Like, a "show your tatoos and don't shave for 2 days prior" kind of party. "and only wear tight v-necked tees and jeans."
Love the tie, not crazy about the shoe/belt combo---but really, does it even matter??!!??!!
Am I the only one who likes the belt?
I must be crazy that way. I love Booth's belts in Bones too.

Honey, nothing wrong with the belt---I would prefer to see it on a pair of jeans, with him in it, of course. Then again, I love him in that old flowery shirt pose and never minded "the cardy incident". Shall I send you an invite to the bday party, dearest
coco??!!
Another lover of the flowery shirt. *raises hand*
And yes please to the party invite. :flirt:

OOOH!!! Lightbulb moment!! I bet I can up the chances of his attending if I make it a double bday celebration. His bday is only a few days from mine. Alex won't have to bring a gift. He would be the gift---the gift to end all gifts.
Fantasyland is a very comforting, happy place for fleur....think I will stay there a while.

Well, great day in the morning...I started out this way this morning...
Now I'm doing this:

and offering this to Red:
I'm with coco - I LOVE the belt. Not crazy about the suit, but I. Love. That. Tie! (sorry, SBJ)
I'm TOTALLY being nitpicky here, but I think he should have had his shoes brushed up or shined before stepping out (I shine my good shoes every time I wear them). Good Bob almighty, the man sure cleans up well!
Don't drum me out of the Alex corps!

Oh coco.
Thank you for that. He is undeniably sweet in those pix, isn't he??
Love. Him.

As if any of us would do that,
PNW.
I'm not too keen on the shoes either.

These are pretty pics from J-Lo's party, Red, and thanks for sharing...
My sartorial tastes being what they are, I love the suit and tie, not so much the belt and shoes. But frankly, the man could make sack cloth and ashes look good.
Two things I see in this picture, mostly from his eyes - a little unhappiness with having to be 'on' at all times. Hopefully, they got rid of the photographers at some point and let everyone enjoy themselves.
Secondly, he's alone. Something he doesn't want to be. I hope for his sake that someday he won't be.

Um,
Fleur? Can I come to your party, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?????
Red, thank you ever so much for the lovely pictures. What a wonderful way to start my Sunday! I don't care what Alex wears, he's beautiful. No tomatoes from me to any of you... and certainly none from me to Alex!
I prefer him in comfy clothes to him in suits. He just looks so much... comfier, y'know? I do love the fact that our boy hates to wear tight collars...

Never would you be drummed out P-diddyGal.
I think most of us would agree that the shoes do not "go" with the outfit.
However, I give Alex a huge break on fashion mis-steps because, well, first of all because he is Alex, and secondly because the man takes chances and probably cares little about what people think of his fashion choices.
I think he looks into his closet and pulls things out and says, "yeah, that'll work", without giving it a whole lot of thought. Which is a refreshing take from the whole overly stylized Hollywood culture.

The suit is killer.

The tie, dapper.

The shoe/belt combo, not so much.

The man inside:
PERFECTION.
But, seriously, who dresses this guy?? He needs a handler/valet/personal assistant. Any volunteers??

LOL, Fleur...like any bachelor (or any married man whose wife doesn't keep an eye on him) would do.
Even though I nitpick, I still think he's the most beautiful man I've ever laid eyes on - EVER.

Not crazy about the tie. But the suit is killer.
Websites are reporting that he proposed a toast:
"'Happy birthday. Welcome back, baby! To Jennifer!' he says, holding up a bottle of champagne."

Love the website name. We're not obsessed, either.

He was smoking a cigarette in that vid...

I wish he wouldn't poison his beautiful lungs. I want him around forever.

I can handle the fact he's a smoker, although I know it's REALLY BAD for him. But I absolutely am heartbroken that the more I hear him talk, the less I hear his accent...and that makes me very sad.
His accent's part of what makes him....well, sort of special to me, I guess...
