I think the positive out of this is that CBS knows that there are lots of distractions so hopefully they will give TR a little more time. That means we'll at least get to see all the available episodes instead of just cutting it off.

VAsusieQ18 wrote:Yeah, but the problem is that Game 5 (the final game) of the American League playoffs has been rescheduled for Sunday night. So now, not only will TRs be in competition with SNF and DH, it has to content with the final playoff game between the Yankees and the Angels. We are so screwed!
I have to admit that tomorrow night looks bleak. Short of the Second Coming, I don't know what else could be thrown up against 3R to make its struggles any worse. But I also agree with r1015bill that there should be some consideration for extenuating circumstances. If 3R can at least hold its numbers even with all the distractions, that's a positive.r1015bill wrote:I think the positive out of this is that CBS knows that there are lots of distractions so hopefully they will give TR a little more time. I may be naive, but for all the investment CBS put into 3R, I can't see them pulling the plug anytime soon. Putting 3R on Sunday night was a gamble. Starting it as late as they did made it worse. But nobody would have expected the football overruns and competition from baseball. I still think (and hope) that a move to another time slot would be tried before they killed it.

Ladies, I sure hope you're right!
To add insult to injury, Game 4 of the World Series is scheduled to air on Fox next Sunday (11/1).

For what it's worth.....the two afternoon football games on CBS are both in the fourth quarter, looking like they'll end pretty much on time. For once, the folks on the east coast will get to see 3R at a decent hour.

I'm actually looking forward to this episode... it's the first promo that has looked good to me...
Tho I dissemble. Even not being interested in the previous promos, I have looked forward to THOSE eps too... Alex, ya know.

Yeah, but at the end of tonight's episode, we should see the promo for next week's episode 'Alone Together' in which we get to meet the mysterious, absent Mrs. Andy (Rena)....and likely a bit of angst ridden Andywpgrace wrote:I'm actually looking forward to this episode... it's the first promo that has looked good to me...
