hmmmm.... harking back to Alle's long row of shots... the one in the dark with him next to the window, his tie all loosened... If that's a McGarret shot, they need to do more of those, a LOT more.

Unfortunately, it's not McGarrett. It's from a photo-shoot that went along with an interview with Alex in the LA Times a few months ago. Also from that same photoshoot is that wonderful one of him looking up at a light fixture. Beautiful shots!

It does feel like a painting ... like it's been touched up, had the background changed, something. And it has the moodier, darker feel of the original pilot, so that seems like a good guess!
