And I am totally with you and SS. Mmmm, there's a shocker.

Red

WTH??? WHy country protected? That makes no sense to me... but oh yeah, CBS.

Whatever.

So if I were British, given my tech skills, I would never see any of this stuff.

Hat's off to you Red... you impress me more and more every day.

Yeah, you'll hear the three of us yelling for Killer-Alex as if it were a football game... your football or ours, the yelling's the same!!

To early in the morning to be wondering, but I wonder if Alex's part is helping the good guys in Criminal Minds. Since his redemption part was not picked up for a series, maybe it was put in an episode. If CBS is using Alex for a new show, would his first part since Moonlight, make you hate him. Us fans will love him no matter what, but there a whole lot people watching Criminal Minds that never watched Moonlight, and if he is evil in this part, that is what is going to stick in people's minds, and I betting Alex wouldn't have stayed with CBS for a one time guest star spot on CM.

According to the news articles... he is playing a serial killer. You mean is his serial killer helping the cops?

Hmmm... interesting, but I'm guessing he is the perp.

A really sexy, handsome, fabulous perp.

Who I am gonna pull for. ;)

Grace, you are right and I hope this works well with him, but there have been parts actors have done, I can't shake from my head. Bale is one of them, he makes a great Batman, but all I can see is that crazy serial killer he had played years ago. Hey, but I will watch Alex in anything right now, I am just happy he is back on TV.

Oh I agree with you this is a risk... thus, I am guessing, that "feels adventurous" thing on his MySpace... hopefully between this killer and Mick... it all balances out and he isn't typecast as an a*shole...

If only we could get one of the networks, or the History Channel, to play Mary Bryant... I defy anyone not to fall in love with Alex after seeing him play Will Bryant!!!!!

The entire population of Oz - well, the female-half, anyway - swooned collectively when Mary Bryant was shown on TV here.

Well and it's funny, cause I believe they meant for Jack Davenport to be the male lead, yes? And I guess he does get more screen time... but upstaged... totally upstaged... hopelessly upstaged...

We so need that movie screened on The History Channel here... do we NEVER have Australia week here? We should ask for Australia week...

It always seems like those of us in the ML universe are constantly waiting. We corner the market on waiting!

For: The writer's strike to be over.
A decision to be made about if there will be more eps other than the initial 12
Whether or not the series will return :hankie:
Will there be a dvd?
etc., etc., etc.
Another in a long line of waits for us!!

OMG... you are starting to sound like me again, Sister Fleur... I get worried when you do that... cause I need YOU to boost MY morale!!! :baby:
I am the one who pings back and forth from celebration to disquiet like a tennis ball!!

You're supposed to tell ME that you have a feeling in your gut that Alex-prosperity is just around the corner... that there will soon be an Alex in every plot... that Alex times are here again... that we have nothing to fear but Alex-overload itself...

Then again, LAST time you indulged in Grace-like self pity and ALex-angst, you got all Erin Brokovitch and provoked him out of hiding...

Do it again!!!
Something must get lost in the computer translation, or I am not making myself clear. I am happily waiting, no whining or worries here! Just making the point that we are all so good at it, we've had to be. Waiting is our art form, nothing negative whatsoever implied.

I fervently believe that Alex prosperity is around the corner---probably right next door if my instincts prove correct again.

Gotcha... And now that I getcha, I think you're right; but I kinda hate that waiting is now our art form.... here's to hoping we get to celebrating being our art form... :champs:

First time I've used that smiley! And celebrating is our forte.

I am so curious about whether or not this guest starring role is somehow linked to the previous pitch for that new series. It all certainly lines up. Or, they canned that idea for a series, but liked it well enought to do it for a one-time show.

Good God. The amount of time and energy I put into this stuff is just amazing.

Please do not use the phrase "nails" in regard to Alex when Fleur is online...
