I think we've learned a valuable lesson here. Do not threaten Josef's well-being, or the Josefites will come down on you like the wrath of God on Sodom and Gamorrah.
Now this is where I regret all that posting about how I don't believe in muses (I have enough voices in my head without adding ML characters to the mix). Otherwise I could just fall back on that old chestnut of going where the muses direct.
That not being the case, I'll just have to take it on the chin.

If necessary. Depending on who dies.

Your chin will not be what we're aiming for dearest...
Now I gotta worry about what CBS is doing with Alex and what Redwinter is doing with Mick... and I wish I meant that in a sexy way...
I'm gonna need a bigger wine glass...

If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin
Watch the Oscar's pre-show, telecast and post-show, and look at all a gal misses.
Let me be clear, I never want Mick to die in a fic, NEVER. You all know he is my all-time fave in the ML universe.
However, with very gifted authors (red), I prefer to leave the character's fates in their hands. I have always completely respected the author's vision. That is why I can read and love and cry over very raw, tough, fics that hurt my heart. If we start asking/demanding/begging for certain favorites to be spared, it isn't the author's vision any longer.
Evidence presented earlier: everyone save Travis the cat was asked to be spared. And I love cats, and am tempted to request his salvation.
I also believe that if red chooses to kill off a major character, we will be rewarded ten-fold by other fics of hers that are heartwarming, smutty, romantic or all 3.
Simple solution. Just keep killing off Cora. Everyone's happy. Okay, I'm happy.
And you do all realize that is said with tongue firmly planted in cheek, I hope.

Oh you are such a kiss-@$$...
And I have other suggestions for where you can plant your tongue...
And I'm still taking the gavel at the next meeting...

Trust me, the last thing anyone who knows me would call me is a kiss-a*s---unless it's a particular Aussie actor, there is no kissing of that area happening as far as I am concerned!
I just looooove good writing in any form. Just like a movie that you get completely immersed in, everyone wants the happy ending--but that ain't life. And so much is learned from difficult circumstances. And as much as it hurts to have a beloved killed, the jumble of emotions that arise from that scenario are really something amazing.
However, write something badly, and I am all for saving the characters, and killing the author!
Sorry, I am a voracious reader of all kinds of books, and I just love anything well-written, and often tends to take me out of my comfort zone. Plus, I watched the Oscars last night, and all of my favorites won, and I cried like a baby about 12 different times.
So, am feeling vunerable and sensitive and want to pretty much move to Hollywood and carry coffee and scripts around for a living!
