Daddy's home! Daddy's home! I'm the first to kiss him hello.

So Josef have you heard the news? I made Courtesan today!
Carol, you made that a long time ago. Right after you met me.

We just haven't been worshipping enough lately. Do I need to remind you of the wonder that is Kostan???
Now, we can really miss him!

Here's a bit of useless information for those who "think Kostan" no matter what they are doing:
My mother died several weeks ago (I was on the way home from the BBM...) so I have been busy with family things these last few weeks. Among other chores, I have been getting the family tree info together since I got a bunch of paperwork when clearing out her house.
I was searching on the Ellis Island archives and found out that our wonderful Josef did in fact go through Immigration. I wonder if vampires go first class... Here's the info:
Josef Kostan
Date of Arrival: May 07, 1912
Name of Ship: President Grant
departed from Cuxhaven
destination was 1344 W Erie Street, Chicago, IL (hey I'm from Chicago originally!)
Any of you Joesefites up to do a story with this info?

Lynn -- first of all, my condolences. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'll keep your family in my thought and prayers.
But - wow! What a find! Josef Kostan coming through immigration at Ellis Island? I wonder how many freshies he brought with him.

Curiously, I'm currently working on a story about Josef in Chicago. But not historical...although he mentions having been there in the past!
However, you can bet I'm filing this away for future reference.
