Good lord, that man is beautiful. :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh:

And don't shoot me, but I worry like heck about his health... I wish he'd quit smoking...but he's a grown-up (as I keep telling myself and others) and it's his decision... just like his teeth and his weight and the clothes he wears...

Thanks, red....that's the kind of press in LA that can help him.

Had to chuckle about the comment about "are you going to write that he lit up a Camel".

He did. Both of them.

I never really enjoyed the Camels... I smoked Winston Lights... or Vantage... or sometimes Merits... or Marlboro Lights... I wasn't very loyal.
I usta date a guy who worked on the line making em all at RJR tho... he got free cigarettes. As many as wehe wanted...

I wonder how many actors still smoke...

Agreeing wholeheartedly with you, alle. I am so glad that you brought up the smoking issue. Not only is he a bit too thin, but I am sure the smoking isn't helping. Granted, I've never smoked, so I cannot understand the addiction, but for the sake of his health, I hope he considers quitting. We want him healthy and around for a very long time.

A ton of actors smoke nowadays--although most of them do try to be covert about it. I remember when my daughter was looking at pix of the Twilight movie in production, and almost every one of those kids had a cigarette in their hands between takes. That makes me sad. I think a lot of it has to do with the lifestyle, stress, and tons of downtime on sets. Again, not making any judgments against any of you out there who may smoke, just concerned.

One thing that amazes me, is that these actors who smoke---Alex included--exercise like maniacs! I can't wrap my head around the fact that they are trying to keep their bodies fit, yet still smoke and how the heck can they work-out to that degree and still have good lung function??

I do know a lot of actors smoke and it does amaze me how they manage to exercise. I can barely exercise and I only smoked very briefly as a teenager but grew up and worked with smokers till about three years ago when the laws became so tough in New York about smoking.

:sigh: I miss smoking. Mr. Grace forced me to quit when I got preggers...
I smoked surreptitiously in the car until the kids got old enough to tell on me... the little buzzards... :mdrama:

So I hope no more journalists talk about Alex smoking... it makes me wistful.
Tho so does Pgal's avi... :sigh:

Oh, sweet baby Jesus in the manger, that man is beautiful. :thud: :melts:

Don't throw things at me, but even though I quit (four years, three months and 27 days) and I KNOW smoking is so bad for him, I think it's still hot that Alex smokes. (I agree, Grace - I miss smoking every day. If I could be guaranteed it wouldn't kill me someday, I'd pick up the cigarettes again in a heartbeat.) There's just something about watching a guy's hands when he lights up that just does it for me. :happysigh:

It me awhile to realize there were words written underneath that fabulous picture. It took a bit longer for those words to make any kind of sense - I kept scrolling back up to the pic...

Me too! PNWgal I thought I was just weird. Someone took the same pic that is your avatar and made a banner for firefox. So, every time I open firefox I have that same pic of Alex smoking in the upper right hand corner of my screen. I also am an ex-smoker who thinks it's hot for some reason.

Sooooooooo.... we're addictive personalities maybe???
Addicted to cigarettes, now addicted to Alex, and fixin' to get addicted to Alex smoking....

Seems we're kind of off-topic. Something we can get away with because one of the mods forgets everything when she sees Alex smoking. As opposed to everyone else on the board who forget everything when they see smoking Alex. See the difference?

I'm addictive personality too, wpgrace. Addicted to food, chocolate, internet surfing, Alex and Moonlight. I wished I were addicted to exercise, healthy food and moderate working... :teeth:

Thank you, francis. I started it by bemoaning the fact that Alex smokes...so mea culpa.

So...back on the subject of the movie, is anybody from England going to the London premiere? Do we know for sure that Alex and Jennifer are going?

Not sure, alle. I checked a couple of sites, but all they could say was when and where the public could gather, and what time the 'celebs' would start to show up. Nobody is saying anything about just who those 'celebs' are.

ETA: found one report that JLo was in Paris Monday morning, then was off to Spain Monday afternoon.....nothing about London

JLo in Paris

Going back (but staying on topic) I read the write-up of the Roosevelt Hotel interview and I wonder just how much Alex was messing with the interviewer, beyond the comment about lighting up.....

Did he really envision a finch every time he 'transformed' in ML? I would have thought of something a tad more ominous or powerful (eagle, if we must stick to birds). Again, some of you have met the man....could he really have just been having a little fun here?

Y'know... that's a very interesting question, DSR. Maybe he was messing with her a bit! That "finch" thing kinda threw me, too. Why a finch, of all things?

I hope, for our UK friends' sake, that Alex and Jennifer do go to the premiere!!
