Oh, dear, dsr, you really HAD to open that box, didn't you?

While I agree with a lot of what you said, I think we did see considerable emotional range in Sleeping Beauty--Jason really shone in that ep, where he had more to work with as Josef. But I've always thought that Josef, as a character, was very nuanced. He's in control, but there always seem to be layers of meaning, and emotion, under almost every move he makes, and every word he utters. (Not that I've given this much thought, or anything... )

It's true, we didn't see nearly enough of Josef to give Jason the scope he could have brought to the character, but damn, he sure did a lot with what he had.

The very cool thing about Logan Echolls is the development of the character--again, it's a nuanced take, because all that angst and need for love is always present with Logan, it's just that at first, we as viewers can't see it, because it's rolled out slowly, over time.

Annnnd...Aggievamp and I are going to the fan event advance screening! It falls during Spring Break, so getting home late won't be an issue. It's a couple of hours away, but, hey...for Jason!

I'm so glad you gals are going!!


I found out a few days ago that my husband is going to be out of town at a meeting from Wednesday through Sunday of that week. Not only can't I travel 3 hours for the fan event on a school night, I probably won't be able to see the movie at all on opening weekend because I have no one to stay with my son.

As much as I love your darling boy, that sucks.

I just bought my movie ticket. It's at the AMC a few blocks from work

I saw the trailer in a movie theater today. It was great to see it on the big screen. Obviously it was an AMC theater and it was attached to Catching Fire. Since I've seen Catching Fire a million (Only a slight exaggeration I'm embarrassed to say ) and it's the first time it's been attached I imagine it will be on other movies as well.

Oh, also, right now, if you subscribe to Entertainment Weekly, you get a "Mars Investigations" tote bag. And electronic access, as well as a print copy.
