I can't help it - I'm a nitpicker. I nit pick.
I am very much looking forward to seeing Andy's wife next week. I hope we get back-story. And it looks like we get to see Dr. Lee fighting for respect from a racist. Could be interesting.
Agreed. I see Mrs. Dr. Andy is a cop - THAT should be interesting.

Oh My Goodness! Thank you so much for posting this. I'd missed the promo last night because we switched channels to catch Mad Men. This looks SO good! Can't wait for next week! Just from this, Mrs. Y reminds me a bit of J.D. Robb's Eve Dallas.

Hmmmm... so they could play doctor one night, and cops the next. Tho not thinking this show is gonna give us that kinda back-story. Dammit!

I thought the same thing! And...I've always pictured Alex as the perfect Roarke, so that's one fantasy I can entertain in my head.
And Grace? You're being very naughty for a Monday...

You've mentioned that before.....and actually, the more I read, the more I'm beginning to agree. Would be a lot of fun to see that kind of fiery relationship explored between the two of them. Some hot drama, on the side.

Between the good doctor and his cop wife? I can get behind that.

Grace,
PNWgal, I'm gonna disagree with you on Andy's confrontation with Ryan being a flaw (you ladies are SO easily pleased

).
Ryan made a mistake, a thoughtless, stupid mistake with potentially nasty consequences that Andy was doubtless going to have to clean up. Andy didn't shout, swear, call Ryan names ("idiot" might have been appropriate

) or do anything beyond speak to him sternly and tell him to fix it. I thought Alex rocked it - but for me, still not a flaw.
I'm still holding out hope for youthful transgressions to give us some
major flaws.

Perhaps "flaw" was too strong a word (because I totally see your point here). More like...Andy was REAL. He reacted exactly the way I would expect a doctor to react. That's what I want to see - I want Andy and the rest to be REAL. I guess Andy losing his temper here was a crack in the veneer, something I'm desperately hoping to see more of.
And here in the US, Ryan just didn't make a mistake, he broke the law. According to HIPAA regulations, that's considered protected health information and shouldn't be shared with ANYONE except the patient - not even a spouse counts. To tell a spouse that a medical procedure is going to be performed before informing the patient? Ryan should have been fired on the spot.
(See? I need a nitpicking smiley!)

I agree it was good to see a real, human reaction - nothing saintly.
And I LOVE you for the nitpicking, sweetie.

You know what guys, for me this show is as good as any medical shows out there right now, and that's my husband talking who really doesn't have the Alex think going!!! I am so sick of worring about ratings on this show, what happens, happens.
For me ,really bad time slot, so if CBS loves this show and Alex, they will fix this is. If not , I am so happy I backed this show, what a cause, the actors are amazing, and our Alex, for God sake CBS he is your star in your first movie production for pete sake, fix this. You will not get new viewers, if they think this show is dead, do some "damage control" and stand up for this series, make the bloggers and reviewers eat crow!!!
After this summer, which really sucked, I can't fight or worry about another show. Do not get me wrong, I think TRs is amazing, I have loved every episode, and seeing Alex again is what we dreamed about. Is this Moonlight no, but any fan of Moonlight has to have some feeling for TRs, because one of the heartbeats of Moonlight is now struggling again. I

to this site, for not bringing in every negative blogger and reviewer post since TRs started. I watch Alex's ET segment, and again I realized how bad Moonlight was for these actors, and I watch him talking about TRs, and how much he loves this part, and it breaks my heart that this show is again struggling for viewers.

... What made me wonder me a little bit was that Dr. Jordan was always working with Dr. Lee or Dr. Foster, why didn't they split up when there was so much to do? But I guess they had way more interesting conversations that way, and probably time enough until the next patient came.
francis - It's my understanding that Dr. Lee is a surgical resident and therefore still in training. Medical school graduates in this country who want to be surgeons must complete one year of internship after medical school as well as a minimum of 4 years of residency, depending on their intended area of specialization. If he is doing a transplant surgery residency, then it would be at least 6 years, I believe. We don't know what year of his residency he's in, but regardless of how much of that training he's completed, he would have to answer to an attending physician such as Dr. Jordan or Dr. Andy. He would be supervised. Therefore, as someone who is still in training, he would have to be more receptive to guidance -- he's there to learn.
I'm not sure about Miranda -- maybe someone can help me out with this -- but I was under the impression that she has completed her training. The fact that she went on the first procurement run with with David supports this. They wouldn't have sent two residents.
