Excuse the squeeeeeeeing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just saw another BUP ad during the hoop game. Mr Fleur is a saint. I rewound it twice and he sat through it with only one raised eyebrow ala Alex! Perhaps a slight eyeroll may have occured.

I said: 'Good for Alex that he got such a great, high profile role, this is so great for him.' Mr Fleur's response: 'Do you know how many times you've said that, honey?'

He's a patient man.

There is no competing with a Greek/Australian god. And that is a rare combination. Although to be fair, I did wax poetic about how gorgeous JLo looks.

I will see it with my BFFFFFFF who I turned onto Alex, who cracks me up with her mumbling incoherencies (is that even a word?) whenever she sees a pic of him.

I am sure I can talk the hubby into going to it, also.

I shall go see the movie when it opens with my BFF... first in line and all that rot... but he'll take me to it later that weekend, cos I'm doing him the grand favor of accompanying him to a JLo movie.

I think I'll have more fun with the girlfriends, a little dinner and wine before the movie is what we're planning. Neither of these two young ladies knows anything about Alex. It'll be interesting to see what they think.

Hey, I'm going to see it with my friend too, and I'll likely go see it all by myself a time or three... I am looking upon the "with husband" viewing purely as a verrrrrry lucky bonus. If Alex had made this movie with Jen Aniston or Sandra Bullock (God rest her husband's man parts, cause she's gonna hurt em)... I'd be all on my own.

But given that fate has thrown this fortuity my way... I AM taking advantage.

My hubby believes that I think JLo is hotter than he thinks she is. God, I really hope that made sense. So, I can't work that angle with him. But he's pretty sweet and he'll go with me if I ask nicely.

Speaking of Jen Aniston, there was a review in our paper about her new movie with Gerard Butler (The Bounty Hunter), which is also a romcom. The reviewer tried to be kind, but found that the best he could say about the movie was it was 'easy on the eyes'. He felt he was watching Butler and Aniston as movie stars, not the characters they were supposed to be playing....he did comment, though, that at least half the audience seemed to enjoy it as Butler 'had his shirt off' for a lot of the movie.

Wonder if the reviewer is related to a certain network exec

Somehow, I think that BUP has a lot going for it beyond the typical romcom (although I may just be a teensy bit biased)

We are all totally biased here... there's no way I could rate BUP vs. another rom com in an unbiased way.
But tho we may be biased and thus our opinions suspect, our ticket-buying dollars count as much as anyone else's. And we can buy as many as we want.
