Something for you to look forward to at the end of the day, alle! It's worth the wait, but not as enjoyable as the Guy Panel segment. Isn't it nice to have so many new clips, interviews, ads, that we can actually complain about some being better than others?? I LOVE that feelingallegrita wrote:My pleasure, sweet pea......and thank YOU for posting the link! I can't watch at work, alas...

It's been fun, ladies. I'm only occasionally here, and when I am, I post like a maniac. Blame Alex!
Have a lovely Alex filled Friday. The countdown to BUP begins in earnest now

Awww, Lisa, thanks for this great great interview. He was so witty, appreciating the fans outside, talking about his former loves (Moonlight and Three Rivers), making the joke about cheese farmers being super fit, and now every woman between 18 and 60 will wish she was smart and pretty and funny enough to get him to notice her.
If only I was pretty, I think I meet the other criteria, albeit barely.

While I KNOW that the Today Chicks are ridiculous, and they are, still, I think it's very interesting how they bring out Alex's personality more than his interview with Maggie on CBS. It's like that morning show takes itself more seriously or something. Tho KathyLee must know that NO ONE takes her seriously, so at least she is that self-aware...
Tho I'm kinda torqued (cause you KNOW I gotta get peeved about something
) that Ann Curry, during the "real" (pre-10:00 hour) show, mentioned that JLo would be coming on Monday to pimp BUP (and SHE will of course be interviewed by the real hosts)... but DID NOT mention that Jen's co-star was IN the freaking studio about to give an interview later on today.... That seemed rude.
And I do wish he had been on earlier... when the audience was higher during the "real" Today Show... but at least a bit of a different audience has seen him this week.
So overall, it was a good thing.

The interview was good. I just wish Kathie Lee and Hoda would have done some background work. They should have known that Alex already had a fanbase from Moonlight. And also about Three Rivers. I found it disappointing that they acted like he'd just sprouted from a cabbage patch!

Yeah, that whole "Where did YOU get fans from?" vibe didn't sit well with me.
OTOH, I found myself wondering if I knew anyone waving an "Alex" sign outside the studio.

LOL. I was doing the same thing, Pgal. Not that I would have recognized anyone but who knows.
ETA: Also, I felt left out in that they said they spoke with him yesterday referred to Alex and the 'man panel' a couple times and didn't go into WHY they spoke to him yesterday and about this 'man panel'. Frustrating as he!!

Sweet Moses, he looks delicious!! Thank you for the link to the clip!!! He is so sweet and wonderful. Yeah, I cannot stand either of those ladies or most interviewers because they are always like, "Where did YOU come from?" Why do YOU have fans? What's so special about YOU?" It's just the tone. Plus, having the two interviewing him and Hoda tries to ask a question and can't get a friggin' word in edgewise because Kathy Lee has to be "witty". Ugh....this is why I can't watch The View. Too many people talking over each other....makes me homicidal. LOL
But Alex is dreamy and I NEED to see this Man Panel he keeps talking about!!!

You know Hoda used to be a serious journalist but she seems to have gone over to the dark side that is Cathy Lee.

I thought he did an amazing job answering the question tho... he smoothed over their ignorance. And they seemed duly impressed with him, and his exterior "entourage."

Well if KLG and Hoda's lack of research drove you crazy, this just might tip you over the edge.
Opening question: "You're Australian, is that right?" Seriously.

Thanks for that, Red.
I think it's possible you've found a clip with an interviewer even MORE annoying than Kathie Lee Gifford.
I wonder if he gets tired of answering the SAME. QUESTIONS. over and over again...

Australian? No, I just play one on mind-numbing morning shows like this.......
God, but he's got to be tired of the same questions over and over again. I know, it's part of the deal, but.....
Loved the polite, gentle put down about resurrecting the Bond audition.....focus on the positive, honey, just focus on the positive.
ETA - cross posted with you, P'Gal and ITA about the interviewer.

Actually the tickytacky suit/tee/over-dyed hair get-up bugged me even more than the vapid suit-mannequin.
Oh... that was mean... at least she LOVED him. She did LOVE him. So she gets brownie points for that. I grade on a curve.
