Susie, M_V and Alle -- it's been so much fun following this movie. I kind of feel personally invested now, so I'd probably just ramble on whether or not anyone was listening. But it's nice to know the excitement is shared.


On that note, I want you all to know that I just got a lovely message from a member of the “Searching for Sonny” production crew. He told me that our thread here has been noticed and appreciated. Before they wrapped, he passed on to Jason some of the sentiments that have been expressed here. I’m told that he was “touched.”

Aww... well, Jason and everyone on the film, we all send you our very best wishes for a rousing success. Thanks so much for sharing the adventure with all of us!

This really has been an amazing experience. So much fun following this all along the way. So, if for some terrible reason they are never able to get the distributor help they need, is there any chance they could go straight to DVD?

In a word, yes.

Although the big screen would be SO much better!

Ranger, a lot of what Greg told me when I visited the set led me to believe that we will see this movie. They have some very innovative ideas, and some of it will depend on how the funding goes via Kickstarter, but I have every faith that we'll get to see it one way or another.
