Oh, so I'm not so clever after all. Yeah, got to admit, it's a long shot. I'm just desperate that's all.

No really, you may have something there, because there had been talk about developing a series about a guy who specializes in solving serial crimes.

And we are all a bit desperate, so, we've got that in common!

ET online has an article on this, with a couple of very nice pics (not new, but nice nonetheless). Here's the link:

Is this publicity for a guest role common? I really think this bodes well for him. It seems they are building up to an announcement. :cheer:

I'm off the board for a few days and you read 15 pages to catch up :gasp: :snicker:

I don't know anything about a CM spin off show so I'm just looking forward to seeing Alex play a serial killer with hopefully lots of tats on show  and then we'll see what that leads to

Grace & Fleur thanks once again for always making me :giggle: when reading the threads

Maybe the new show will take place in a nudist colony. Is it on HBO? Oh, yeah, right, CBS..I need some coffee. CBS...well, maybe he'll be like Richard Gere in American Gigolo. Yeah, that'd be cool. Spy by day, gigolo by night.

Leave it to Raven and she will figure out the best way for a serial killer to be naked.
I think we will probably see tats

OK....going through this thread, we have the following:

a) Alex's serial killer is indeed a serial killer = bad guy

b) Alex's serial killer is indeed a serial killer, but one that wants to change his ways = not quite so bad guy

c) Alex's serial killer isn't really a serial killer, just posing as one to help catch the real baddies = good guy

If a), then you'll see tats and maybe a lot more

If b) probably see tats, with less of anything else

If c) might see a little of the tats, just for show

Regardless, my guess is that they're going to have this character look as un-Mick like as possible.

I wonder about how they are going to make him look. First, I was convinced, like you, dsr, that they would make him look as opposite of Mick as possible. Then, I got to thinking about how his fans adored him as Mick and raved about his gorgeousness--so, would they keep some of that as a link to getting as many females to watch?

I am thinking a compromise. Hair long-ish (though I know it had been very short), tats fully evident, and some definite stubble. No henleys (sorry to my sistah grace), but tight tees and jeans.
Something that shows a hint of Mick, but allows another character to shine through.

How about this? If they're going for a non-scumbag appearance, he could like as he did when they had him playing the investigator in Feed (before they had the actors switch roles). In that role, his hair wasn't quite as long as Mick's but he had a full, neatly trimmed beard. A truly wonderful look for him.
