We all know that Alex is way much more than a "hot ass" epic or not but sill I find the description funny.
And yes, who cares who else is in the cast after Alex
He will outshine them all but a solid, talented cast increases the chances of the show to be picked up.

She's funny. Her article the week before was hilarious too, it got Alex's photo.

Dr. Mick St. John, organ transplant surgeon will only snack a little on your blood while operating

Only problem... she lets Skeet have the picture this week with the epic hotass tag under it...
I don't like sharing his title with Skeet... There is only ONE epic hotass...

Is that a quote from the article, ODM? If so, I wish these people would let Alex move on to new projects without comparing EVERYTHING to Moonlight. Maybe it's just me, but I want to keep Mick and Moonlight separate (and ever-treasured) and judge his new projects on their own merits.

It's not just you,
Red. I too wish we'd all let him move on too... But notice, they also have a poll on that site... if you will watch Alex as doc... if you will watch but wish it was still ML... etc, etc.... the majority are still voting will watch but wish it was ML.... so if you want to go vote for yay Alex as a doc, there is that option... but until the fans let ML go, the bloggers won't either, I'm afraid...

I'm not a big fan of comparing everything to Moonlight either but something tells me it's going to be a while yet before that stops anyone

I'm soooo with you on that, Red. It's comparing apples to oranges, imo. Let the man continue his career. Can you imagine if ML had continued for 5 or 6 years? Good for us, but I'm afraid it would have been very bad for him. If fans can't let him move on after 16 episodes, can you picture what he would have been up again after 100 episodes? Talk about being pigeon holed and typecast.

Yeah Red, the quote was from the article, right under Alex's pic. Sigh.. I guess for now Alex is still connected to ML by association until his next series succeeds. If, God forbids, it doesn't, then we'll still hear ML some more. His one-time appearance on CM is too short to let people forget ML. There are 3 votes for Alex who??
Grace, the other epic hotass pic is Brian Austin Green, not Skeet. He's the hot dude from 90210 and Sarrah Conner Chronicles and is added to Jason's Body Politic pilot.

I guess the blogger didn't want to post Alex's pic twice in a roll..

Good Lord I'm not saying anyone should stop talking about Moonlight!!! I'm just saying comparing other projects to Moonlight is a bit silly - completely different characters in new shows should be viewed as a new opportunity to showcase Alex's talents. We can all do that while remembering Moonlight, can't we?

Absolutely! And that's why we love this site especially. I'm just tired already of hearing how
this won't be the same or
that won't be the same or
this person doesn't remind them of Beth, etc. It's a new show and a whole different opportunity for Alex to shine. Mick will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts because right now that's where he lives and will conitnue to do so. Luckily we have our place here to share those special memories.

I don't see the blogger's dig as a comparison to ML. You have to know, a lot of people who read her blogs don't know who Alex is, just like I don't know a lot of actors that she wrote about. Those little tidbits she drops from time to time will help her readers become familiar with the actors' names or at least intrigue people enough to google more stuff about the actors.

Red it's going to take a heck of a lot to shut me up when it comes to Moonlight

Over... I always admit I really don't know other actors... I guess I have now proven my ignorance...

Of course MY point also was, there isn't another epic hotass... only the ONE.
And is
Red now saying she no longer wants to talk about Moonlight????
And you know, we understood,
Red Sweetie... I think most of us just agree with you that we will always talk about Moonlight and revere Alex's performance in it, but we SHOULD let Alex take on other roles without constantly pining that he is no longer Mick... particularly since it isn't his fault that he is no longer Mick...
Tho I also think had Moonlight gone on for several seasons it would've been fine for his career... he'd be a bigger name fast enough and would be offered movie roles for the hiatus periods. Now it will depend upon whether 3R gets picked up to make him a bigger name... and for him to get movie roles... I really really reallllllly want to see him get movie roles...

The pilot must air prior to May 20th...correct?
