I was wondering, does Alex wear contacts? Because those very HD close-ups from ML don't show any signs of contacts.
Or he doesn't need his glasses all the time? He looks fine with them.

Unless he's had surgery, he probably does wear contacts since he wore glasses as a child.

Oh yeah he wears contacts. Many of the pics you guys post of closeups shows them, and I'm not talking 'vampire eyes.' kays

Hi did? Maybe he is one of these lucky people who only need glasses for nighttime driving or reading the board in class. My husband has glasses but can function perfectly without them while my daughter and I really need them. Some of my students only wear them in class. Who knows?
But still, Alex looks gorgeous in them and I really like his frames.

No no... not necessary to dig out the article... just wondered how you had ever heard that. I don't recall him much ever talking about his childhood... or maybe I just haven't paid attention to those parts of the interviews. Being in the midst of children every day, I maybe blocked that out...

The pix of him in glasses are perhaps taken shortly after or before flights and us contacts lens wearers are advised to take them out on planes as they really dry your eyes out So maybe his eyes are just tired or sore, whatever the reason, he still looks adorabubble in his specs
