So here is my comment report update:

Castle fans are voting against Alex cuz H50 is on at the same time Castle is and so they want Alex to lose. So there's one conspiracy against us. Jerks. And those of you voting for Nathan might wanna consider that... harrumph.

SOME Jensen fans are voting FOR Jared, in a SPN solidarity thing. So there's another.

SOME Jensen fans are voting for ALEX, cuz for whatever reason, they hate poor Jared. That's an old, old song in the SPN fandom, btw.

And for the most part, those commenting pro-Alex continue to do so in a supportive, positive way. There are a COUPLE of pro Alex posts that are rather mean to Jared (one calls him an ugly orange guy, cuz the photo of him seems a bit dark, I guess) and one poster rants about stupid teenie aged voters in the poll, which is not going to help Alex's case one little bit.

Also one Alex poster pointed out that Alex DID once play a vamp, which caused another commenter to be quite surprised to learn that the guy pictured as McG was once MICK, cuz she had watched Mick, and so now she's voting for Alex too. Dude's chameleon qualities have maybe cost him a few votes amongst the vamp contingent in the polls...

Oh, grace, I'm so glad you're following the comments--I just can't bring myself to do it, but it's good to know what's going on.

And I don't blame Nathan for some of his fans being jerks. Any more than I blame Alex for some of HIS fans being jerks.

I don't blame him either... But you KNOW there are peeps who will. We know this cuz of what has been written about us. So aside from the 2 unattractive comments by us, I'm pleased with what I'm seeing from our fangirls.

And my point was also more about strategy... If his fans have to work a little harder to keep him in it, maybe they'll lose interest in sabotaging Alex.

That's a good point. I'm voting for Alex and Matt Bomer.

I'm voting for both Alex and Nathan. From the way things are going, it appears Nathan has a chance but Alex has been consistently behind in this round. I wouldn't consider not voting for Alex - even though I like Castle a lot.
