Phee is an equal opportunity drama-giver... in her fics allll the characters eventually have their moments of trial, tribulation, and joy. So if you don't like what happens to em in one fic... try another... they all get "special treatment" when it's their due, whether they want it or not!

Tho she has a particular fondness, I perceive, for Mick and Emma... those two are MOSTLY safe from her... but just mostly. They shouldn't count their eggs prematurely either..

And she insists on this brother /sister thing for them... I dunno... two gorgeous vamps... surrounded by pushy personalities... eye of the storm, Phee, eye of the storm!

Well reading thru this thread, I have apparently been in an evil mood the last couple days... I've parried with Red, challenged the Josef army to support my Mick, accused Fleur of kissing up, started a food fight, and coaxed a gavel out of dear Lilly...

I seem to be on some sort of rampage. I blame Alex. Cause this is patently not francis's fault and I refuse to take the blame for my own behaviour... If ALex were on tv I'd be watching him instead of harassing you fine people... so ipso facto, Alex's fault.

Ok... all crazy and snark aside... I mention Ryder that way cause in fact he (and Simone) HAVE been killed in more than a few fics... without a torch bearing mob going after the author, btw...

But also all snark aside... think about Alex's performance in MB...and the ONE scene we all rave about... Will's final scene. It is an amazing scene by the actor... and it's not sexy... sex is not what you think about when watching that face... I place myself in that scene... what would I be thinking if that were me? And damn... every thought that occurs to me appears on that face, one by one...

An amazing death scene can be quite dramatic and memorable.

So I have thought about our characters' deaths... the show made plain that even vamps aren't really immortal...

If you COULD write your favorite character's death scene... their final grand moment... or their final small moment... what would it look like?

I actually think that's an interesting topic... tho I don't write... i do think about it...

You know, Grace, that is an interesting idea. So are you officially proposing a challenge? Kill of your favorite vamp?
Kill someone else's favorite vamp? Work the list? Pick one from a hat?

Have a few suggestions: write a fic killing off a beloved member of this board if they mention any more character killings. No? Too harsh?

Well then, how about a challenge fic for April Fool's? Kill a character that day. Brutally, massively murder them, any and all. One time only offer.

You know, Grace, somehow I suspect you are a lot more talented than you are willing to give yourself credit for. Your writing is just fine, thank you, as is demonstrated throughout 16.8% of all posts on this board.
