Oh has Life gone?

I'm catching up on this show as I'm way behind but thoroughly enjoying it so that is bad news.

I am missing something here, added all those new shows, with Jay Leno at 10:00, and keeping a lot of old shows. Where are all these new shows going without a 10:00 period.

Well it wasn't among the "returning shows"... so I'm guessing yeah.

So sad. I loved that show. But, coco, it did end well, so it's worth continuing to watch through to the end.

Interesting that they picked up both medical dramas. I did hear good things about Mercy. Apparently one of the three nurses is pegged as a breakthrough star. The scuttlebutt is that they are saving some of the shows to air in case the Jay Leno experiment does not work out to their satisfaction (although they do have pretty low expectations in terms of ratings). The Jay Leno show is nowhere as expensive to produce as a one hour drama. I hear Trauma may cost them $4 million per episode. Yikes!

Another interesting note is that all the shows picked up are produced (at least in part) by Universal Studios (NBC's production studio). If this is a trend, it should augur well for the Paramount Studios pilots being looked at by CBS.

With NBC putting on two new medical dramas, I can't see CBS not putting at least one medical drama on its own schedule. And the only pilot produced by CBS Paramount Studios out of the three pilots it ordered is Three Rivers. :fingerscrossed:

Trauma sounds like a high octane version of an old favorite of mine - Emergency, from the 70's I think. This show may stay in the field more than the hospital, making it less of a direct competitor of hospital based medical shows.

I can't decide whether NBC having two medical dramas is good or bad for TR. Good because medical dramas are in; or bad, because CBS might see it as overkill.

We who were around last year were told that ML had an excellent chance of being renewed by the experts; and it wasn't! :hankie:

Like has been said, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes.

I just can't imagine another year with out Alex weekly on my TV again. The movies are good, but they can't replace a weekly dose of Alex talent and hotness.

Well, one thing for certain. TR is nothing like Mercy or Trauma (other than being a medical show) so hopefully that bodes well for it.

I can't begin to imagine how Alex feels... :confused2:

I've been following some of the Twitter on the new NBC shows and "Mercy" is not high on the list for many of the reviewers..Ausiello says "based on the trailer..my tv will show no Mercy .."

Happy news is that Fringe on Fox is returning. :woohoo:

No struggle for me... just gives me one whole entire channel to avoid like the plague at 10 pm... :puke:
And I'll be avoiding along with you.

Right now? Are the CBS pilots screened today? :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
I sure hope the CBS bigwigs like what they see. We know they love Alex :hearts:
Maybe we will hear some info sooner than 5/20 (??)
