Where's the gutter when you need it??? My mind has touched on every 'groaning' reference imaginable ("I'd like to harvest that"... "We had a bumper crop this year" ... I'll stop before I'm modded)
You're one to talk with that amazing banner! Maybe you can throw a can of soup in his hand! And yeah, I am with you on the references---thought of a few myself.......

Blame lilly (or thank her!) for continually supplying me with the most thudworthy avis ever. She is either an artiste, or a naughty-minded little thing. I prefer to think of her as both!

I just wonder how she kept her mind together for long enough to make the avi. If I'd loaded THAT particular pic into Photoshop, I'd have just stared and daydreamed for hours, forgetting that I was trying to... :melts: :happysigh:

Sorry, what was I saying? :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh: :happysigh:

I've just spoken to the programming department of Channel Ten in Adelaide. Three Rivers is set to premiere on Australian TV in a Prime Time Slot. As yet though no date has been set. The woman I spoke to said she believed it might be before the end of the year, but she couldn't say for certain. There is a possibility the show may also premiere in the New Year.

Lead surgeon in leading role

It may be set in Pittsburgh, but a new medical drama that debuts Sunday, Oct. 4, on CBS has its roots firmly in Cleveland.

Producers and actors from "Three Rivers," a drama about an organ-transplant unit at the fictitious Three Rivers Hospital in Pittsburgh, have been frequent visitors to the Cleveland Clinic in recent months in pursuit of authenticity for the show.

While here following doctors around, and observing at the hospital, the producers were intrigued by the Clinic's Dr. Gonzalo Gonzalez-Stawinski, a cardiothoracic surgeon who performs heart transplants.

Gonzalez-Stawinski's fun-loving personality -- his nickname is Gonzo -- is now the loose basis for the show's lead character, the good-natured, sarcastic surgeon Andy Yablonski, to be played by actor Alex O'Loughlin.

"This guy to me is like a rock star," O'Loughlin says of the real Gonzo in a video on the CBS Web site. "He's extremely good at what he does."

Each episode of "Three Rivers" will be told from three perspectives: the transplant recipient, the organ donor and the medical staff.

And there are probably lots of people making bad decisions, too, if we know our medical dramas.

Gonzalez-Stawinski flew out to Los Angeles last week to do a walk-on in an episode, where he will interact with his alter ego, Yablonski.
