I am liking the show ALOT... I AM worried about the ratings but I refuse to allow that to disallow me to like the show ALOT. As Sleo, I think it was, said when we weren't sure whether ML would stop at 12 eps or get more... it's like a long movie now. Four eps is now like a long movie... and there's more Alex in this "movie" than in any American movie he's made... so... that's something.
And I am always swooning whenever Alex is on screen. Total swoon. Verrry hard to hide the swoon from Mr. Grace, but I am juuuuuust about as good an actress as Alex is...

Sorry, I know I'm being a bit sarcastic, but I really can't get into this show. No chemisty for me. But I absolutely adore the original NCIS.
And believe me, I really wish we over at TRFs were not so into ratings and reviews. I know my ulcer would appreciate a breather!

Thanks, Susie - and DSR!

Figured NCIS: Los Angeles would get a pick-up, even though it's complete and utter nonsense (Chris O'Donnell is so ridiculously unsuited for this role).

You know who IS suited for that role?

So I finally got to watch the ep and I loved it this week. The show is really hitting its stride and I hope it continues in that way. All the docs rocked their roles. Loved angry Dr Andy - a real reaction which pleased me greatly. Ryan messed up but did good in fixing it. His inexperience let him down when he came face to face with the wife - he had no idea what to do and did the wrong thing. Dr Jordan rocked as always - I agree that she is the character that holds them all together.
I liked that we didn't see the actual bus crash - arriving at the aftermath gave it so much more drama. Loved the kid with the glasses - he did good in this ep.
It was more fast paced this week like a real hospital show and I liked that a lot. I have no idea why Dr Andy was operating on the leg though -is there anything this man doesn't do?
Roll on next week.

A review of "Code Green" from TV Guide magazine:

Apart from not having paid enough attention to see the row of bodies at the crash site, it's a good synopsis.

Good ol' TVG... this is just the online version, right? I have trouble keeping that straight. Tho I wish the printed version would re-review the show... it got better.

Okay, how many of us want to see Alex shirtless, that would be me, but !!! Right now TV Guide is real iffy with me right now. I know they love Alex but they lambasted TRs at upfronts. TV Guide, bloggers and reviewers were horrible with this show with the upfronts, and how many viewers just tuned out on this show because of them. Now, with a lot of those same people watching this show, they realize they just may have spoke to soon. Well, maybe all reviewers and bloggers, should wait till the finished product before they try to kill a new show.

TVG may have lambasted 3R at the upfronts, but they have consistently been supportive of Alex and his endeavors. I make sure to thank them every time they highlight Alex or Three Rivers.
And oh YEAH...let's advocate a shirtless Dr. Andy. THAT will make the character credible and believable.
(not that I'm opposed, mind you...it just seems gratuitous)
