Veronica Mars Movie Instagram account today. Seems like a good day to follow @theveronicamarsmovie on Instagram. Just sayin'...
Even if you don't have Instagram, you should be able to see the pics here:

Yesterday didn't pan out so well for the Instagram takeover, but Jason just posted a picture of Ryan in bed, so maybe today will be better.

I've just finished episode 5 of season 3 (I know, I know, binge watching the rest of the week).
Anywho, at the end of the episode Logan walks out of his penthouse onto the balcony and it struck me I had seen that setup somewhere before. I can't capture the image (watching on Amazon), but the similarity to Mick's apartment struck me, specifically the black pillars with the red lights and the fireplace.
Both shows were Silver productions, but does anybody know if they used the same studios?

dsr - Veronica Mars was shot in San Diego, so they didn't share a studio, but Alfred Sole was the Production Designer for both shows. He tends to carry elements he likes from one show to another. He brought a smaller version Matasaboro of the Wind by Alex Gross (Josef's ceiling mural) over to Castle to use in Beckett's apartment.

Thanks for the explanation, Lilly

I've seen the
Matasaboro of the Wind in Beckett's apartment and every time I do, I think of a 400 year old hedge fund trader.

Here are some caps... Red-lighted pillars:

Oooo - thanks for the caps,
myimmortal!

The spacing of the red lights is different, but the concept is totally the same.
And here's a great video interview with Jason for Bellus TV:

TV guide has published an article on the Veronica Mars movie by someone who has apparently seen it.
Please, be warned. The article may provide more spoilery information than you'd like before you see the movie!!.

One non-spoilery bit of info I found helpful was the suggestion that you might want to watch 'Mars vs. Mars' from Season 1, if it's been a while since you've seen the series.

dsr - Thanks for posting the review and especially for including the spoiler warning.
Personally, I am avoiding ALL reviews until I can see the movie. I may have to take a break from Twitter because I truly want to be surprised the first time I see it.
You've got to love the media blitz going on right now, though, and Warner Bros. gets a lot of the credit for making that happen. Yesterday morning, while I was waiting for my car to be serviced, I saw Kristen Bell on
Kelly and Michael. She was on
GMA just before that, and then did
The Tonight Show last night.
Local NY channel WPIX had Rob, Enrico, Ryan and Jason on yesterday morning, as well:

Good interview...but that woman was CLUELESS.
I admire their restraint in not (gently) correcting her.

I know you're not going to believe this, but I'm declining to read the spoilers. I want to be surprised and delighted!
This is probably the only time you'll hear me say that.

I don't remember if anyone - maybe Alle is - said they were going to the Paley Center (LA) event honoring Veronica Mars? It looks like there may be some seats still available.
I think the theater where the Paley Fest events are may be the same one as where the Oscars were held? It looks like it seats over 3,000 people. Quite different than the seating capacity at the actual Paley Center in Beverly Hills where the Moonlight event was held almost 6 years ago.
I would have liked to have gone to a Lost event but given how large the place is, can't justify that. I think they are having some type of Lost 10 Year Reunion in Hawaii?
