Adding this not so much for the picture but for the info I didn't know about Alex. It's a facebook entry so I'll include the text here.

Met Alex O'Loughlin today, who plays Steve McGarrett on Hawaii Five-0 . Very real guy, down to earth and gave me good advise on my tinnitus, which he also has and hearing loss. Didn't know he has Aussie accent. Does American in series. Joked that he looked like him and found out was him. Must happen a lot.

Cool! It's about time, the show has been on for 7 years and they haven't done a photoshoot on him since year 1.

Please forgive me if this blog entry has been mentioned here before. If it was, I totally missed it.

As you all know, we've discussed Alex' love of WornFree t-shirts many times. I spotted on twitter (via grace and mymaximus) that there was a blog about it which explains the fascination.

It all began in a tiny bright orange office above a hairdressers across the street from Johnny Rockets on Melrose Ave. We were just starting out and had to pay people who helped us in t-shirts, luckily for us these people included Alex O'loughlin straight off the boat from Australia just hanging out in Laurel Canyon waiting for his next big acting project. Alex actually featured in our first catalogue and is still a great friend to Worn Free. He was actually moaning at us the other day because some of his Worn Free favorites (like our John Lennon Working Class Hero tee) are in tatters because he has worn them all so much. We are sending him out a care package to Hawaii featuring some of his old favorites and a few new designs we think he is going to like.

I will admit to having bought a few Worn Free tee shirts because Alex looked so good in them. For example, the green "I'm not Joey Ramone" tee he wore at the cart racing event in 2007.

I shiver at some of the writing for this show....... I'd rather have Alex read me the directions on backing up my laptop.
