Damn! How can people watch that crap when ALEX will be on?? :snicker: :snicker: Seriously, why do they put Alex up against an AI results show? GRRRRR! They probably hope he will bring in his loyal fans and raise CBS's ratings for that time slot!!

I have seen enough of Obama over the last month---and not enough of Alex---Obama talks about how we are broke and broken--Alex raises my blood pressure and hormone level---who do you think I will watch on that Wednesday night? :thud:

Criminal Minds holds its own against American Idol. Yes, American Idol is going to get 20+ million. Thats a given. But Criminal Minds consistently performs week after week. This week, the show was a repeat. Yet it still garnered 10+ million. New episodes of Criminal Minds usually gets around 12 million. Not bad, though they usually don't fair so well in the demos. It will definitely be interesting to see if Alex's guest starring role will bring up their numbers from previous weeks. I'm sure CBS is going to be looking at those numbers just like us. I think it will also be interesting to see how heavily they advertise/promote the episode. When Jackson Rathbone recently had his guest starring role, I can't remember seeing one promo, and I watch a lot of TV on CBS. I'm hoping that they will promote the hell out of Alex's episode.

It will be interesting to see how much they promote the episode. Keep in mind that Alex's episode falls within May sweeps so it should get a bit more attention promo wise.

Interestingly for next week, CM will be a repeat at it's regular 9:00 hour and the new episode will come on directly after at 10:00. Obviously CBS is trying to dodge a bit of AI competition. So 2 doses of CM next Wednesday and then Alex's episode on the 29th. :hyper:

Thanks, Juli, for telling me that. I will watch both episodes next week then. I should have a good handle on everyone's part on the BAU team by then. Also I figured out that "unsub" stands for unidentified subject; am I correct?

Unknown Subject is what I believe UNSUB stands for. So, pretty darn close, WF! :clapping: And I think as long as you have a basic understanding of who does what on the team, you should be good to go for the 29th.

Yup, UNSUB is unidentified or unkown subject. I actually use UNSUB case titles quiet a bit at work, though I'm not looking for serial killers! :snicker: My UNSUBs are mostly just normal people we've yet to identify, mostly cuz all we have is a pic or perhaps a license plate. Once the UNSUB is identified, the case title will change to the subject's true name. Same principal would apply for the BAU. Once the serial killer is identified, they would start referring to him/her by name, or a codename if one has been assigned.

So in other words, once the BAU identifies Alex's character, he will henceforth be referred to as HOTTIE, correct?

I figured out the blond girl geek with the glasses runs all the comp stuff; there is that one guy who is the brainy one (the skinny guy). The older guy runs the team. So far that is all I THINK I know. :snicker: :snicker:

Maybe his codeword would be "Hot Stuff". Or perhaps "Smokin' Hot." In the FBI, single word codewords signify an operation, whereas two-worded codewords ususally signify a subject, in this case Alex. So getting creative here, can you guys come up with some appropriate codewords for our Alex? :snicker:

Hey just for the record I am one of those 12 million who happen to like CM. I've never missed an episode although I have been known to Tivo. I love the fact that Alex is going to be on. It's a great place to showcase his varied acting abilities. kays

Kinda amusing to imagine the BAU, or other FBI team, speaking into their little walkie talkies... "Here comes Epic Hot@$$ at 9 o'clock... Agent 69, your turn to tail him... "
