If you really want an answer to that JIMS, I'd be happy to oblige.
No Coraline = two-dimensional Mick. If that's what you would have preferred in the show, then hey, each to their own.

Can I just say..with apologies to Phee..that I hate Coraline? Jeezzz..why did she have to put Mick through all that crap?? She's just downright mean and nasty!! (but what a great femme fatale!!)
Ok..back to The Ringer..
Eh... she's a vamp, literally. And as Red said, she adds depth to his character... as with many of us, it's the shi!t in our lives that really makes us who we are. Without her, he's an 85 year old former semi-cool musician with grey hair and gout... AND let's be honest... Mick did NOT have do-gooding in mind when he flirted with Cora at that party. He'd probably taken advantage of a young woman or two by then. With Cora, he just had no idea what he was getting into...
And ya gotta admit, the frazzled Mick in this ep is to-die-for!

Oh! I understand for the conflict and the drama of the show that Coraline was absolutely necessary!! Don't get me wrong..I love Coraline..or, rather, I love to hate her!
It just hard to see her put Mick through so much anguish. He's angsty enough without her messing with him..again!!

I was lucky enough to catch the last half of Sleeping Beauty while at lunch - on the elliptical.
Have to get back into the swing

and it's back to the Curves circuit for me tonight as well

I got to watch quite a bit of it while doing Christmas cards, laundry, wrapping gifts, and paying bills... tho I did sneak out on Mick to play a little tennis too...
SUCH fun. The show SO holds up, doesn't it???

So apparently there will be another marathon at the end of January... maybe we can get Mick and Andy running about the same time.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but...Josef, no Josef. Yeah, I know which one I'd watch.

Yeah--Moonlight is just so much... richer. Denser. More satisfying. (Hmm, sounds like a cake!)

Yes, with Moonlight I'm still licking the bowl of frosting two years later
