Aww, thanks guys! :ghug:

DSR, that is definitely food for thought! I'd buy the DVD... heck, I'd probably buy it even if they did show the remaining episodes and/or sell 'em on iTunes...

I'd like to point something out at the risk of getting stoned.

I like TR, and I adore Alex. You all know that.

In the television world, when someone has a bad day, their show gets put on hiatus.

In the organ donation world, when someone has a bad day, someone dies.

No stones from me, sweetie. It's good to keep things in perspective. If 3R did nothing else, it got a few more people to consider and perhaps sign up as donors. That alone is something to be proud of.

Oh, that puts it in perspective. But, yet again, it's another reason it's so sad TR wasn't more popular. It could have done so much good for organ donations. Well, it DID DO some good. Small steps are always worth taking. Alex can feel good about that.

Alle, what was that I was saying last night about writing amazing. thoughtful posts about important stuff? You've done it again.

And bless Alex, for choosing a project with a capacity to do some good for the world. It's not his fault the show didn't make it. And I have to wonder if maybe he learned the impact he could have for good from the Moonlight fans.

WHEN has anybody over here ever stoned you? They dare not... we still wanna find out what happened to Otieno and if he ever hooks up with his good friend Kuol again... :smooch:

And darling Dark's post to CBS inspired me to make my own... far less clever than hers, but I actually thanked CBS for airing the show and casting Alex... noted that if they ever cast him again, I'll watch that too... and then gave a plea that they find some time to air the unaired eps so that we might see the completion of the major story arcs, mainly Kuol's and Andy's... and mayyyyyyybe even sell them on ITunes...

If we could juuuuuuust see the 13. In fact, since they didn't film 13 yet, they could rewrite and make a finale out of it... so, hope springs eternal.

Alex has posted a blog already. What an amazing guy. :hearts:

Loved reading everyone's posts here. I'm a little short on pretty words at the moment so I'll just agree with you all that this is just sad, for Alex, for the rest of the cast and crew, and for us. I'll miss the show - and I'll miss having Alex on my TV every week.

Today the newspaper said that they are gonna close the big department store in our neighborhood. This means that around 120 people, mostly women, will be unemployed. Puts things a bit in perspective for me. I feel with the cast and crew and especially Alex and the main actors I started to like.

My family really started loving this show after the Mandy episode, and I still think was one of the best hours of TV this season. :Mickangel: :Mickangel: :Mickangel: I am feeling crappy after this cancellation (but ratings and demos killed this show, okay), but I will have a major problem with CBS, if old King Jerry's, Miami what ever name it goes under, get's prime time real estate and a ton of promotions, then I will go major nuts that CBS didn't give TRs the same playing field that they gave one of their icons, because of their past history together.

Thanks, guys.

This show has really done some good. Maybe it hasn't had so much impact in the TV world, but it has had impact other places. I bet not many other shows can say that (take that, CSI!)

I hope everyone is proud of the work they have done on TR. I, too want to find out what happens to Kuol.

I just read the blog from Alex. :hankie: I had no idea of the cancellation until now. Such sad news.

I confess I've had no time to watch the show on a weekly basis and I have quite a few eps to catch up on but I was really looking forward to being able to do the catch up thing and get back on track with the show and now that's not possible.

I've been reading this thread and from the posts, the show seemed to have hit its stride and was being enjoyed so I'm sad that this is the decision CBS made. I do hope they'll at least air the final episodes for us to see. :fingerscrossed:

:confused2: The American TV viewing public....killed Moonlight and now Three Rivers. I guess the viewers would rather watch Wisteria lane. I know ML had back stage problems, but if the viewing public had watched it in droves, we'd still be watching it. And other factors were also involved with TR, but in the end it all comes down to numbers...or the lack thereof. :hankie: I guess honest to good normal programs are no longer coveted. :hankie:
