And seriously, how nice of Trevor to recommend her book. I've read the blog she write about fanfic, and I think it's wonderful that Moonlight inspired her to begin writing her own vampire story.

I just got the official contract for the German translation of "Angel of Vengeance". The German title will be "Blutige Nacht" (Bloody Night). I hope the German Moonlight fans will check it out!

Early this morning, Trevor shared the cover for the Italian version....

So those ultra blue eyes on the Moonlight promo materials must have come from Trevor's vision of Mick, huh?

Probably the other way around. I think this cover version of Mick Angel is actually strongly influenced by the ML promo materials.

Any word on the artist? This reminds me of some fan art I've seen. Wouldn't that be cool if a fan did the cover?

It does look a bit like fan art...and a whole lot like our Mick. The U.S. cover was a stock illustration I've seen in other books.

Can he do that? That looks a hell of a lot like Mick, and I've gotta wonder if there's some kind of copyright issue here.

Well....it depends on contracts. It's my understanding George Lucas owns the likeness of Ewan McGregor for Obi Wan Kenobi. I think Ewan gets something like six cents on everything official sold. If Alex hasn't sold the rights to his image I'm sure you'll find something different on the cover that makes it "Not Alex"

ETA "Looking at it while the top half of the face is our "Mick" The lips and oddly enough the ears look different to me. Just my opinion
