I agree with Alle, Dark. It is not a rude or personal question. There is nothing in it to give offense. There is no personal monetary gain to you and nothing to hurt them. It's just a point of interest question. They will either say it was them or it wasn't.
Tho the bonus MIGHT be, if it WAS them, they might share a story with you about the experience. And you can swap stories about your dinners.

Not sure if what DSR saw was the Rugby team but it was my understanding that Alex didn't arrive in Pittsburgh until sometime Saturday August 15, so I don't think he was even there when DSR was.

Moonlightsonata,
I know Alex wasn't there, but the team could have been taken out without him. Believe me, I'd have spotted him, although you did far better than spot him. How exciting that must have been.
Anyway, I'm going to make some polite inquiries....for all I know, the guys I saw could have been the choir from the local church, but somehow, I doubt it.

Yes it was very exciting and as it turned out a lot of luck. We originally expected the filming to be early Monday morning and I was planning on taking a train on Sunday afternoon. After all these plans were made, we learned on Friday that it was actually Sunday morning instead. Because of other plans, I couldn't leave until late Saturday night. So this time a week ago we were on our way from Baltimore to Pittsburgh arriving in Pittsburgh about 3 am in the morning. I know some people who post on this board are real night owls but walking around a park in a strange city around 3 am felt surreal. We were trying to figure out if we had found the right spot and it turned out that where we originally went was a few blocks off. We did drive further and saw several trailers and some no parking signs so Amy thought we were in the right place. But because it was so dark, I couldn't see any field and couldn't figure out where they were going to play. But when morning came, we could see the field. So if was definitely worth it, and while the weather was very warm and humid, at least we didn't have thunderstorms like we are having here tonight. Not sure they would have played rugby with storms like that. A very memorable experience to be sure especially when Alex waved back to us. And the pictures, autographs, and having Alex talk to us were the icing on the cake. I hope others on this board are lucky like that someday too.

So I've been complaining lately that I'm seeing more Good Wife ads than 3R adds...
...but I gotta admit, I just watched a tennis match, where Mr. Federer pretty much destroyed Mr. Djokovic (and I likely just destroyed the spelling of Mr. Djokovic's name...

)...
...and there were several 3R ads thruout. Including one where the announcer noted the show and correctly pronounced Mr. O'Loughlin's name.
So, YAY!

I can see it now, the memo being sent to all who might otherwise mangle his lovely name
"OK folks, listen up! We don't want to irritate our viewers any more than we already have. The name is O lock lin. Repeat after me, O lock lin."

Here's a very short interview with Carol Barbee:

No "nightmare quotient". Shocker.

It's great--but heavens, she should've gotten somebody to edit her article for her! I'm sorry there are so many typos. However, there's no arguing with the lack of nightmare quotient when casting Alex.
Hmm, did it sound like Carol Barbee had little choice as to whether or not to accept Alex?

You wouldn't send him back then,
Grace?

Send him back????

Oh cease with the profanity,
Red!! Send him back!
Can you imagine the post traumatic stress you would suffer if you SENT HIM BACK????? What would one have to be smoking to send HIM back? And THEN, the eons of alcohol-laden crying jags on the phone to friends, and then to former friends, tired of the eons of alcohol-laden crying jags, and eventually to hot-line phone operators paid to listen to alcohol-laden crying jags ...the YEARS of rehab that would then ensue... the death-bed confession of deep regret... the inevitable post-mortem visitation to that chick from Ghost Whisperer so that you could tell him, thru her, one last time you regretted SENDING HIM BACK (and while having her on the hook, so to speak, make the point to her that it is incomprehensible that her stupid show continued and that ML was canned; two birds and all)...
So, not to be wordy and all, no
Red, I would not send him back.
