This article about Jason was referenced on S4S' facebook page.

I see they've raised 75% of the 10,000. Yay!

francis, I think you could be right.
I'm guessing you all will feel similarly about this one. I took the liberty of removing some unsightly background distractions...

Background distractions?? Huh? What background distractions??

Here's something interesting...
You may have wondered why the S4S graphic doesn't really resemble the characters we've grown to know...
Well, here's a picture I found of the cast from the original trailer that was made before the film got off the ground...
Unfortunately, that trailer is no longer available online. It really would have been fun to have a look at it. I do know that one of the "original" actors, Jared Knight (on the right above, with the flashlight) has worked with Andrew Disney before on the short film "Frank's Last Shot" and he took on the role of Ryan in the Searching for Sonny film.
Also, I want to note that the "Searching for Sonny" Kickstarter project has only 16 days left. And they still need almost $2400.

Geez, he really does have a gorgeous swing.

And for once I'm not talking about how lovely he looks as he swings a club. He just has fabulous form. It's a pleasure to watch him! (No, not THAT kind of pleasure... oh, geez... I'd better shut up now...)

Is it just me, or does his hair look a totally different color in this vid? Like, darker, and redder.

It does.

I figured it was just the direct sunlight.

I know they didn't do anything different for Elliot's hair in the film.

Could be he's been spending more time indoors lately and it's not as sun-bleached.

Actually A, I was admiring his swing and his line myself
He is absolutely beautiful to watch no matter what he's doing, he just makes it look so effortless

That's really the measure of true talent, isn't it? The ability to make the very difficult seem easy.

On a more technical note,
Searching for Sonny got a great mention in
Filmmaker Magazine in an article about the use of HDSLR cameras in professional filmmaking.
Link:
STATE OF THE ART: HDSLRs IN 2010
The last paragraph "What's Next" includes some discussion and insight from Andrew Disney about the use of this technology in developing S4S. For the tech minded, this is a great read. For others, it's a great shout-out to the film.
