Can we just back up a second to Alex and that long-range rifle at the beginning? Because that was just hotter than hell. :thud:

There was actually a good deal of Alex goodness in this ep - and they need to put him in that Dolphins aqua color more often.

Cuz...damn. :melts: :melts:

I don't believe there is ever gonna be an episode where we think otherwise!

The man ups the ante ever week. I don't know how he does it, but I am oh, so, glad!

Oh, what a great bunch of pictures! I loved the way he looked in every scene. And I'm glad they made his face look all "dented" around the goggles, because that's the way you'd look after you'd been wearing those suckers. And somehow those indentations made his face look even handsomer and more heroic.

But he looked absolutely mind-bogglingly heroic in that War Room scene. You're right, jmc. Everyone else just paled in comparison to Steve and the other SEALS in that room. THEY were the ones who understood completely what it meant to be in an operation like that. The others were on the outside looking in.

Sorry for the double post. I've been searching for pictures of that Geiger tattoo. I think I was wrong about what it used to look like -- the tendrilly things are bolder than I remember. But they used to be almost monochromatic. I think they have recently been embellished with color. Compare the shot Lilly gave us of Steve wearing the aqua t-shirt, shooting:

If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin

Grateful to Alex for Mick, Andy, and McG. :)

I think the difference could be the alterations made to the second and third photos....both of those "artistic" shots have had alterations to the hue and intensity. What do you think?

Could be. Also, the 5-0 shooting scene seemed to have the color intensity popped way up. So it could be a combination of the two.... color tweaking down for the arty shots, and color tweaking up for the show. :chin:

For comparison purposes, here's the scene from H50 cropped...

I think the colors were already there, it's the lighting that makes them appear more vibrant. It seems they tend to shoot H5-0 scenes with a yellow filter, so everything is brighter and the colors really pop.

I don't think Alex would have just that little bit of color added to an already elaborate tattoo.

That is GORGEOUS, Red. Alex has a face that's built for black and white... :melts:

OMG, red. That is stunning. Simply stunning.

You need to do a photo retrospective, you know, in your spare time!
